4160 Tuesdays The Sexiest Scent On The Planet. Ever. (IMHO) Eau de Parfum Spray

£60.00 - £90.00

Unassuming and sensuous, 4160 Tuesdays The Sexiest Scent on the Planet. Ever. (IMHO) Eau de Parfum is a fragrance to be enjoyed up close.

Smooth, soft and seductive, it opens with the surprising scent of sweet, tart lemon meringue pie, then smoulders down to velvety woods. It’s a great perfume to take out with you and add a layer of scented sensuality for evening. A fragrance with which to woo and be wooed.

Our fragrance expert says:

“First things first, you need a bottle of this in your life. Secondly, the name is delivered with tongue firmly pressed in cheek, so don’t get snotty. This is the smoothest and most satisfying vanilla fragrance. It’s sweet, spicy and powdery, with oodles of bergamot, cedar wood and ISO E Super (an ingredient that makes things super smooth) to make a warm and comforting skin scent. Oh, and it’s super sexy too!”

Top Notes: Bergamot, Lemon Meringue

Heart Notes: Wood, Modern Amber

Base Notes: Vanilla, Ambergris

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by vanilla and cedar If you like Yves Rocher's Vanille Noir, or Guerlain's Shalimar, you'll recognize this scent. I'd class it as a mix between a vanilla oriental and a chypre. "The Sexiest Scent on the Planet Ever. IMO" is interpreted by the perfumer as the warmth of vanilla, with the modification ambergris, which comes across as the strong, almost astringent scent of cedar wood and brine. The vanilla brings to mind skin that's warm from a lie in, with the remnants of a sweet lotion applied on skin the night before, but now faded and mixed with the person's own scent, which is where the slight bitter notes of ambergris comes in. When sprayed initially, the perfume comes across as sour (?), and when it starts to develop on the skin, the vanilla and sweetness uncurls with the heat of your pulse. It's a challenging perfume, I think. I do remember spraying it at first and wondering if I liked it. It's a perfume that you would do well to try before you buy, but if you've smelt Yves Rocher's Vanille Noir, it's pretty similar, but The Sexiest Scent Ever Imo has a bit more edge. September 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by A very disappointing and expensive mistake I'm afraid this is an example of the need for samples to be available before purchasing perfume online. The perfume bears no resemblance to its description and I cannot wear it, therefore I've wasted my money. August 14, 2015
