It all started during a stroll through harvested wheat fields in Avignon combined with a childhood memory strongly marked by the aroma of rain-kissed earth on a summers' day and sun-touched hay stacked in a barn.
Back in Paris, Annick Goutal worked to recapture this classic scent "of nature, bees and summer".
