Rated 5 out of 5 by Claudini Finally, my skin can grow up I have suffered from spots since I was thirteen, if not even younger. Eighteen years is a long time to put up with this but I am pleased to say that Avène seem to have provided a solution at last. Their new moisturiser, which replaced Cleanance K, is a great leap forwards in terms of skincare. Cleanance Expert smells delightful, really light and pure, and sits lightly on the skin. The clever bit is the science behind it. This moisturiser kills the bacteria that cause acne without being harsh on your skin. It also helps to exfoliate your skin and reduce red marks. I am now happy with my skin for the first time in eighteen years, thanks Avène. April 30, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mandi13 Good moisturiser for greasy/spot prone skin I finished prescription medication for adult acne in October 2014 and knew that my skin may return to its old greasy self. I was advised by my dermatologist to use either Avene or Eucerin during my treatment so decided to carry on using Avene which had helped enormously with dry skin. It hasn't disappointed yet. There is no fragrance to the moisturiser. Its very light and non-greasy and is absorbed quickly. I don't use a lot and only use it in the morning as I use another Avene anti-ageing moisturiser and specific Avenue spot treatment at night. Does the job and although my skin is greasier, I have no acne 7 months after stopping my treatment. My only criticism is that it doesn't specifically help with wrinkles, anti-ageing, etc, which is why I had to use alternative products but I suppose you can't have it all. April 29, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Curlywurlygirly So disappointed - caused spots I was using the predecessor to this, the Clearance K which was fantastic. Trying this, the replacement. No traditional AHA/BHAs but their own version of a chemical exfoliant. It has no real fragrance and smooths on nicely. HOWEVER it caused white heads and a couple of deeper spots. Turns out it has shea butter in, a known pore clogger. No idea why in a cream designed for those of us who have problem skin they would put something into clog it. So disappointed and now need to try and get my skin back into a better condition again. A waste of money for me and the hunt for another new oil free moisturiser continues. April 18, 2015
