Rated 1 out of 5 by Gracie86 from Not for me Colour was too dark and it did nothing for my combination oily/dry skin. Made my skin look really greasy. Wouldn't buy again, even in a different shade. Disappointing :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by lily406 from Not for un even textured oily skin! I have very oily skin and I applied this with my hands. The products did not set into my skin and applied very patchy and dirty. Unless you have an extremely even textured skin which is not oily, this product may not work. The colour was a little dark but the coverage was perfect if you like a light coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SGM57 from What a confidence booster! I heard of this through an article in my newspaper and found out more through Bare Minerals website. This is a fabulous product and suits me - nearing 60, sensitive dry skin, age spots, high colouring/broken veins - perfectly. Having first bought it instore, which gave me a chance to test the colours, I use Vanilla and apply it with the Smoothing Face Brush which I bought at the same time. The result is a real boost to how I feel about my looks - it subtly evens out my skin tone without looking 'made-up' and is very comfortable on my skin. That it moisturises and gives protection from the sun just makes it a perfect product for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mimiwitch from Favourite tinted cream I have been using Complexion Rescue in the shade Buttercream every day for well over a year. I have tried many tinted moisturisers, BB creams, CC creams etc, because I really don't like the look or feeling of foundation on my skin, and have found this one to be the best that I have tried. Firstly, the range of available shades is very good. I have fair skin but with a slightly yellowish undertone which means that most 'fair' or 'light' coloured products in a standard 2 or 3 shade range are just too pink hued for me. Secondly, it is really easy to apply. It has a lovely thick lotion type consistency coming out of the tube, which means that it is easy to dispense onto fingers without it running everywhere. I know that some people like to apply this with a brush as if it were a foundation, however I have found that applying it with my fingers like a moisturiser and just allowing it to soak in for the time it takes to wash my hands works best. For me, this has avoided any problems with the pigmented part 'balling' on the surface of the skin if overworked or spread too thinly. It absorbs really well and leaves a natural dewy finish. I'd say that sheer to medium coverage is quite accurate. It does even out skin tone and brighten up the skin but darker marks or blemishes will still need concealer. As I have older skin, I do dust over with a superfine setting powder as a bit of a safety blanket to avoid any settling into crease lines around the eyes or nose throughout the day. It definitely lasts for the whole day for me, although I obviously can't comment on whether or not it lasts as well without the setting powder. The tube packaging makes it really easy to dispense, carry around in a make up bag and makes it obvious how much product is left. I find that a tube lasts me a long time - I think I've only used 3 in a year and have a couple of spares left because I bought them expecting it to run out faster!
