Binky’s Glowing Skin Regime

Binky's Glowing Skin

Binky's Signature

Hello beauty lovers! It’s been quite a hectic week for me. Filming for Series 7 of Made in Chelsea is in full swing, and I’ve also been busy in meetings for a lot of very exciting projects coming up which I can’t wait to share with you all…

I’m very much a ‘work hard, play hard’ kind of girl as you may know by now, and I’ve been enjoying a few cheeky nights out with friends too. So with that in mind, this week I decided to share some of my skincare secrets with you all. A hectic lifestyle can really take its toll on your skin, which is why it’s so important to maintain a thorough cleansing routine, using quality products tailored to your skin’s needs. My gorgeous mummy, Jane, is extremely well kept and looks years younger than her years. She taught me the importance of a great skincare regime, and has let me in on some real gems that help her maintain her fabulous skin.

Here are some of our favourites!

Step 1 – Cleanse

Using a cleanser to remove your make-up daily is much better than simply using a make-up wipe. I’m a huge fan of the Nuxe Comforting Cleansing Milk with Rose Petals. My skin can get quite dry, especially in the heat, and this cleanser gently moisturises my skin as well as removing all traces of the day’s make-up. I cleanse both morning and evening – this Nuxe cleanser is packed with nourishing ingredients such as macadamia oil and Damascena rose petal water, making it super-gentle even on sensitive skin. Mummy loves Avene’s Extremely Gentle Cleanser – it’s paraben and fragrance free making it great for hypersensitive or older skins.

Step 2 – Tone

The Avene Thermal Spring Water has been one of my skincare staples this summer – it feels so refreshing on the skin! It’s especially soothing if you have sensitive or irritated skin. Simply spray it onto the skin in a fine mist, wait for a few seconds, then gently pat dry. As well as being a fantastic toner and skin soother, this versatile product can also be used to set your make-up. Mummy swears by the Caudalie Beauty Elixir – it’s inspired by the “Elixir of Youth” used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary. This soothing spray smooths features, tightens pores and gives a burst of radiance to the complexion.

Step 3 – Moisturise

Moisturising the face is an essential element to your daily skincare routine. I’ve recently been using the Vichy Idealia Smoothing and Illuminating Cream, and absolutely love it. If you suffer from uneven skin pigmentation or unrefined pores, this moisturiser will make your skin look and feel even, smooth and radiant. As an added bonus, it smells divine! Apply daily both morning and evening – avoid the eye area though. The skin around your eyes is particularly sensitive and so requires special attention. I recommend using the La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Eyes eye cream, which hydrates the delicate eye area and reduces those pesky eye bags. One of Mummy’s favourite moisturisers is the Nuxe Nuxellence Jeunesse Youth and Radiance Revealing Fluid – it melts onto the skin with a gorgeous velvety feel and instantly makes the skin feel smoother and look more radiant, while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

One of my new skincare essentials is the Vichy Idealia Life serum, which repairs and revitalised damaged skin. It leaves a light, non-greasy protective film on the skin’s surface, protecting it from pollution and build up of micro particles during the day.

Finally, make sure you treat your skin to a mask regularly – I recommend the Caudalie Vinoperfect Enzymatic Peel Mask, which brightens and illuminates the skin, as well as minimising pores. It also gently exfoliates the skin for a truly radiant glow – the ideal treat for a relaxing pamper session or to give you a gorgeous glowing complexion before a night out!

Hope you enjoyed reading about some of my favourite skincare products – let me know if you’ve tried any of them out for yourself!

Stay beautiful,

Binky xxx
