my favourite autumn sent is Apples – I love to use apple shampoo! but for fragrances when it starts to get colder and wetter before the magic of christmas i like a nice comforting and relaxing fragrance like Kate Moss Vintage

Serge Lutens Five o’clock au Gingembre, Etat Libre d’Orange Rien, and Miller Harris L’air de Rien.. Fire, gingerbread and pumpkins, perfect!

My two favorite autumn scents both include ginger, leather and animalic notes and come from the same French niche perfume house: Etat Libre d’Orange! My recent favorite is “Charogne” (carrion) the other is “Putain de Palace” (hotel slut). Despite the odd and repulsive names they’re absolutely wonderful, well composed and with a lovely sillage. If you don’t want to smell like everybody else it’s a must to try their beautiful and weird-named-perfumes!

Guerlain Samsara EDP possesses a blend of amber, rose, iris, violet, vanilla and sandalwood, woody & oriental, not overpowering. Also like Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise Cologne which has subtly sweet vanilla spiced with star anise. Both fragrances are wonderfully warm and rich, perfect for colder days.

I love the smell of Bonfire Night, the bonfire, fireworks, toffee apples, mulled wine and a big pan of chilli con carne 🙂

Cinnamon and Frankincense more a smell of Christmas but as the dark nights roll in it seems ever closer.

Lady Million will always be an all year round scent, however in Autumn it reminds me of the crunching of the leaves and blasting of the fireworks!

Autumn is when the trees start loosing leaves, and pine and other evergreen trees fill the area with their aroma. The strong, green smell of pine is a refreshing smell. A spicy and sweet smell of Autumn is pumpkins, rich in aroma. Vanilla is a warm and romantic smell of Autumn. Vanilla adds an intriguing and relaxing feeling 🙂

Autumn smells to me are the build up to Christmas, cinnamon, sandalwood, cherries and cranberry’s, smells that make me feel like the snow is about to fall amongst the leaves but also not forgetting about the previous summer so it has to be a medium, Dolce and Gabbana does that perfectly, it’s sweet and warm and the perfect autumn smell, autumn is the best for perfumes! It’s the last of the summer and the beginning of the winter.
