    My two favorite autumn scents both include ginger, leather and animalic notes and come from the same French niche perfume house: Etat Libre d’Orange! My recent favorite is “Charogne” (carrion) the other is “Putain de Palace” (hotel slut). Despite the odd and repulsive names they’re absolutely wonderful, well composed and with a lovely sillage. If you don’t want to smell like everybody else it’s a must to try their beautiful and weird-named-perfumes!

    It is hard to pick just one fragrance for the Autumn. Let’s see… I’ll probably go with the Guerlain Shalimar Initial for it’s earthy notes, and it’s warm base. Those notes are just perfect for the Autmn and when the temperature is below 15C because then it smells so divine and amazing. And Shalimar Inital is one of the best representatives in that category.
