Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Toilette
Few fragrances warrant the label ‘classic’ but this rich, earthy and leathery fragrance from Givenchy does. Big on patchouli and vetiver I’ve worn it for years and even though it was launched nearly 40 years ago it remains utterly timeless.

Clarins Men Fatigue Fighter
The hero of the Clarins Men range this party season essential instantly gives skin an energising boost, leaving it firmer, fresher and healthier looking and making it the perfect hangover cure for skin!

Acqua di Parma Colonia Eau de Cologne Gift Set
Superbly light, fresh and versatile Colonia is a fragrance virtually every man I’ve ever met has loved. This gift set includes a shower gel and body cream and looks fantastic so what’s not to like?

Guerlain Crazy Paris Terracotta Healthy Glow Powder
When it comes to creating golden skin, Guerlain’s powders are inimitable. What makes them special for me is that they’re infused with pops of pink, giving the tone of the colour a more natural, sun-kissed hue. This one also entwines a peachy, iridescent shade, ideal for any colour correcting needs. Parisian influences of the Champs-Elysees can be found in the limited edition packing of this powder, making it the perfect Christmas indulgence.

Dior Hydra Life Beauty Awakening Rehydrating Mask
The party season brings a mixture of cosy nights in with the central heating on full or wild nights out with champagne on tap – neither of which are good news for your skin. Pre-party use this to create a fresh, dewy glow that lasts the night, or layer on top of your normal night cream for a deeply nourishing overnight treatment.

Van Cleef and Arpels Oriens Eau de Parfum Spray
We are taught as children never to judge a book by it’s cover, but sometimes you just can’t help yourself. The bottle of one of Van Cleef and Arpels’ classic fragrances, Oriens, is inspired by a tourmaline and diamond ring from the French brothers. A dazzling, multi-toned jewel sits atop the bottle, and a light, fruity fragrance lies within it. For summer, try the Aqua edition – light, crisp and reminiscent of fresh ocean water.

Etat Libre d’Orange Jasmin et Cigarette
When I was introduced to this niche brand back in 2011, their wonderful interpretation of this dirty floral made me go weak at the knees. Jasmin et Cigarette is a seducing tale of lust with all the glamour of a Parisian boudoir, just perfect for raising the temperature during these chilly months!

Tisserand Aroma-Stream Diffuser
I’m through with traditional oil burners that sizzle and spit away in the corner of the room, staining the walls and threatening disfigurement to all those who venture near. This much safer home-scenting alternative from Tisserand will keep your home delicately fragranced all year round without any of the melodrama.

Miller Harris Rose En Noir
As a dedicated Miller Harris fan, I can’t help but have my head turned by one of the brand’s latest launches. Rose En Noir promises to inspire the dark side in us all with a striking mix of coriander seed, petitgrain citronnier, Turkish rose damascena, black pepper, and patchouli leaf. Not one for the faint of heart, sultry femmes need only apply!

Eau d’Italie “Un Bateau Pour Capri” EDP
I’m in the mood for an Italian Christmas this year and my first wish would – in a heartbeat! – be Eau d’Italie’s Un Bateau Pour Capri EDP. It’s utterly feminine and unashamedly glam – in a “hop on a speedboat to Capri for dinner” sort of way. I love its elegant, sexy peony, sambac jasmine, rose and milky heliotrope blossom notes and I’m more of a citrus fan normally, but this floral EDP blew me away.

Nesti Dante Il Frutteto Pomegranate and Blackcurrant Soap
Long name for a soap, and I long for this soap. I’d like a Christmas Stocking stuffed right down to the toe with Nesti Dante soaps and the wrappers are so pretty you almost don’t want to open them. Soap has made a come back into my bathroom recently and I love a fruity, vegetable-based cleansing bar that lathers up nicely.

Acqua di Parma Precious Wood Candle
60 hours of Acqua di Parma’s Fruit and Flower Candle infused with Red Berries and Wood? Yes please.
I love candles that bring the scent of outside inside, and real dried berries and wood are embedded into this luxury wax, by hand. The amazing part is, they remain intact while it melts down with each passing winter’s evening.

I’m a complete candle-holic and love anything by Acqua Di Parma, including their Blu Mediterraneo collection. This candle would be the perfect “rustic chic” centrepiece for a Christmas Eve supper…or flickering gently while you’re curled up on the sofa with an Amaretto by the fireside in your dream chalet the Italian Alps.

And last but not least, my fourth wish is that everyone reading this has a very “Buon Natale” !

My nearest and dearest tend not to ask me for a perfume wish list at Christmas for fear that I will unleash a encyclopaedic tirade of fragrances that I would like to get my grubby little hands on. I don’t blame them really as I do tend to be quite specific about the things I want, so instead I shall share with you just a few of the wonderfully scented things I am wishing for this Christmas.

Amouage Epic Woman
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the pure opulence and luxury of Amouage (is there a better gift to find under the tree, I ask you?) and this one is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. Epic Woman certainly lives up to its name and is a rich and heady blend of flowers, teas and woods that speaks of long-forgotten journeys along the Silk Road. It is epic in every sense of the word.

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noires Extrait
I have loved La Petite Robe Noire since it was released as a Guerlain boutique exclusive way back in 2009 and I recommend it to pretty much anyone looking for a nice mainstream perfume. After all, what’s not to love about the super delicious smell of fizzy cherries, liquorice and black tea? The Extrait plays up the smokier, darker tones of the fragrances and like all Guerlain’s most precious parfums it comes housed in an absolutely adorable little bottle.

Comme des Garcons Blue Encens
Comme des Garçons know how to do a good incense fragrance and despite the fact that they probably have at least 100 in their extended selection (OK, that may be a vast exaggeration), they proved this year with Blue Encens that they can still create an interesting twist on a well explored genre. What makes this incense smells so special is the fact that it is so fresh and spiky, evoking image of a vast blue sky over miles of expanding grey forest. Blue Encensis definitely one of the best unisex scents launched this year.

Too Faced Return of the Sexy Palette
This Too Faced palette has three of my favourite eyeshadow combinations all in one handy palette; smokey greys, gold and browns and purples. Each colour ’set’ comes with complementary colours so you can do three eye looks or mix and match them for something a little different. I love that you get a large mirror and an essential black eyeliner with the set – I can see this palette suiting many people with different skin tones.

Miller Harris La Pluie Eau de Parfum
Fragrance is my new passion and this scent from Miller Harris is just the kind of scent I like; a floral, with notes like bergamot, tangerine, ylang yang, jasmine absolute and vetiver bourbon. The fragrance is described as suggestive of a tropical shower and the climate of a far away island, which is just what I need to counteract the frosty weather outside!

Michael Kors Glam Bronze Powder – Glow
The Michael Kors beauty range has been hotly anticipated and the launch of the cosmetic range has so far got great reviews. Their glam bronze powder comes in luxurious gold packaging perfect for gifting and the bronzer creates a soft natural sun kissed look that can be used on the face and body – great for the party season but also just to cheer up a dull day.

Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow in Grege
Because I’ve lusted after these high quality palettes forever & love the idea of a compact with super wearable everyday shades. My theory is that if you’re going to invest in high end make-up, skip the glitterfest and choose a quality item that you’ll wear every day!

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Musc
Firstly, can a perfume bottle get any more glamorous? And secondly, I’m so drawn to warm musky scents in Winter and think this could be my everyday go-to.

Real Techniques Your Eyes Enhanced Starter Gift
Because it’s the only set in the collection that I don’t have – and therefore I feel that it’s a necessity!
