When we first started our up to 1/3rd off French Pharmacy promotion, it was to introduce more people to the underrated brilliance of its products. We’re a few years in now, and it’s fair to say that the category has really taken off – in fact, we’re pretty sure that you guys are specialists by now, judging by the feedback that we receive!
There are plenty of well-loved favourites, from the Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm through to the Avene Thermale Spa Water. You may not be as well acquainted, though, with some of the newest releases that are making a name for themselves. Take a look at what’s new in French Pharmacy, and let us know what you’re most looking forward to trying in the comments box below…
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo +
A (not so) secret skincare weapon of choice for beauty writers and bloggers alike was the original Effaclar Duo fluid, a balancing formula for blemish prone skin. Last month this much-loved formula was relaunched with a supercharged new ingredient, Procerad, a patented ceramide that prevents the pigmentation marks left behind by acne. So you get all of the same spot-busting and unclogging action as before, with the added bonus of evening out the skin long after your imperfections have disappeared. It’s getting a brilliant reaction already – just read some of the many customer reviews here.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Face and Body Ultra Rich Cleansing Gel
As Nuxe’s Reve de Miel range caters for all the family, its products are mild and comforting, but they also tend to be multi-purpose. The same is true of this brand new addition to the range, the Reve de Miel Face and Body Ultra Rich Cleansing Gel, a sumptuous honey-scented gel that gently and effectively cleanses even young bodies. Created with plant-based cleansers, it does a fantastic job of clearing the skin of dirt while respecting its delicate balance. Plus, it’s available in a bumper 400ml size – that’s a lot of honey scented goodness!
Vichy Dermablend Corrective Make-Up Collection
Dermablend is famous for its high pigmentation formulas for those who want to conceal imperfections. From thread veins to tattoos, and acne scars to birth marks, the range of foundations, concealers and powder gives you ultra long-lasting, full coverage that looks and feels completely natural. There’s really nothing out there that better serves those who require full coverage. The original collection of make-up has been transformed and extended to make choosing your perfect shade even easier. See our full swatch post of the new products right here.
Klorane Nettle Shampoo
This new formula from botanical haircare brand Klorane is a lifesaver for those struggling with oily hair. Designed to give more time between washes, this hypoallergenic, nettle-infused shampoo makes hair feel intensely fresh and light. Forget the stripping detox shampoos you may have used in the past – the exceptionally gentle Klorane Nettle Shampoo gives you that same ultra fresh feeling without any of the associated dryness. And it has a wealth of fans already. Read these reviews from Lou at Srslylou, Nicole at The Two Scoops, Nicola at Obsessed by Beauty, and Danielle at Danielleyc to find out more.
La Roche-Posay Rosaliac CC Daily Unifying Complete Correction Cream SPF30
If you have rosacea or diffuse redness, you’ll know that finding a base that provides good coverage without exacerbating your reactive skin can be difficult. The brains at La Roche-Posay are experts in sensitive skin, and they’ve come up with a brilliant solution in the form of the Rosaliac CC Cream with SPF30, a silky make-up base with skincare benefits. Its stripped back formula reduces the chance for reactivity, while its high concentration of active ingredients actively soothes and neutralises redness. It’s a really gorgeous formula, with a clever mix of pigments that adapts itself to suit most fair to medium tones.
