From the perfect glow to the perfect matte lip, you’ve scored some real beauty finds this month. Take a look at our favourite customer reviews of the month…

heavenly’s review of the Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster 15ml

Brilliant for fair skin! I have fair skin and have always been scared of using any self tanning products on my face but I love this! It evens out my skin tone which means I need less foundation and gives me a nice subtle colour. Not orangey at all. Have had a couple of friends tell me that my skin looks nice since I’ve been using it. A little goes along way so wont be needing to buy another for a while…but I definitely will be repurchasing. And fast delivery too!

Mell‘s review of the Daniel Sandler Luxury Matte Lipstick

Perfect lipstick for spring & summer! As the name says, the texture is matte but when applying, you would never say that matte lipsticks can be so creamy! Smoothly glides on lips, does not emphasize dry areas or retracts into fine lines.

I must say that the creamy texture immediately after application is not completely opaque, and even after a short drying lips have soft reflection which is really very, very subtle, and I think that is even more appealing. In terms of pigmentation also did not disappoint at all!

One layer covers the entire lip, but if you want to achieve the effect of intense bold lips you can add another layer even though there is no need for heavy application.

The formula of these lipsticks is really great because it does not dry out your lips, indeed it is very moisturizing, and there is no fear of unpleasant feeling after removing makeup. Formula is a rich combination of vitamins A, C, E and avocado and jojoba oil, so no wonder it is so nice and easy on the lips.Another proof that matte lipsticks do not have to be dry and unpleasant. Despite excellent formula, pigmentation and lubricity, this lipstick is very stable during lunch and on my lips lasts for half a day without spilling into the corners of mouth.

Gigi is perfect shade to refresh the complexion and lift the whole look.

Neutral eyeshadow, slightly defined crease and Gigi on the lips – can it get any better? Cool pink, neon shade, I’d say with reddish purple tone, certainly will not go unnoticed.

Highly recommend!

ChloeofLondon’s review of La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 – Soothing Repairing Balm

Wonderbalm. I thank the powers at be for bringing this cream into my life. I’ve always had dry, sensitive skin, but recently I’ve been getting alarmingly frequent bouts of perioral dermatitis which manifests as raised sore skin around the mouth, nose and sometimes the eyes. The only real medical advise is to stop using all cosmetics which is the very last thing you want to do when it looks like your face is about to explode. I’ve since stripped out any products that have parabens or silicones but my skin still wasn’t entirely happy.
Until I discovered this.
It is wonderful. Within hours the redness and irritation is reduced and after a couple of days my skin has healed almost entirely. My boyfriend has also begun to use it to soothe his very sensitive skin after shaving and has used the word ‘miraculous’ on a number of occasions.
To sum up, anyone and everyone who has been struggling with very dry and super sensitive skin needs this in their life.

kristjo’s review of the Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation

This is the best foundation I’ve ever used, I’ve bought really expensive brands in the past but nothing has given me this fresh, flawless coverage before. I have large pores and dark circles, I use with the vichy setting powder, and with 3 kids, a stressful job, and a big commute it still manages to stay put until I get home and take my make up off. All whilst being fresh looking and light, it isn’t heavy or drying like some of the other ” hardcore ” foundations.

Tanpopo’s review of the Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst-Quenching Serum 30ml

This is truly what it says, an SOS serum! This winter my skin went extremely dry and dehydrated and in an act of desperation I got this to use together with Bioderma Hydrabio Light Moisturising Cream. Just finished the bottle so it lasted 3 full months (I used one pump twice a day, which was plenty). After the first week of use my skin was visibly softer and already hydrated, yet the serum was light and fresh, really pleasant to use! Highly recommend it, can imagine it being enough to use on its own in summer under spf. Am now trying the Vinoperfect Radiance Serum but will have to use it a bit longer to be able to compare the two. Prefer the pump in this one though, feels more hygienic. Will definitely repurchase!
