From a fantastic foundation to a fabulous fragrance, you’ve scored some real beauty finds this month. Take a look at our favourite customer reviews of the month…

TheMakeUpTourist’s review of the Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation

After having tried countless brands to find a foundation that blends to the perfect shade and texture, I am sure I will never find another as good as this one. It’s a little more expensive than most other formula’s but I consider it a worthwhile investment, seeing as I wear it most days. I would love to see a few more shades available though, as I find if I’m not careful with my application the Beige Clair can look a shade too dark.

ChloeOfLondon’s review of the Avene Extremely Rich Compensating Cream 50ml

One first inspection I was a little worried about the thickness of this cream, but fear not; it is like whipped mascarpone (or whatever ridiculously indulgent foodstuff you like to put in your face rather than on it) for your face. Merely spreading this stuff on your parched skin feels luxurious, which is not something I usually get to experience due to my mercurial skin. The only constant being that it will become red, dry and extremely disagreeable at the most inopportune time.  This cream saves it; my skin is now calm, affable and for the most part without redness. Only the smallest amount is needed so I feel calm about the cost. Win, WIN.

GMxxx’s review of Prada Candy Eau de Parfum Spray

Before I bought this perfume I read through all the reviews. Seen loads of great reviews so I thought why not? It’s something different for me. Ordered and arrived next day and I will NEVER regret my purchase. This can be worn during the day and at night. I can personally say (being a collector of perfume) this is clearly in my top five. I highly recommend to anyone.

Tintin01’s review of the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] 40ml

The Effaclar range has transformed my skin. I am in my mid-40’s and have had problem skin all my life; not quite full blown acne, but continuous breakouts, often large scale and uncomfortable to the point of painful. The usual products, Clearasil etc., left my skin dried out and never really had long term results. So, two years I started a morning and evening regime of Effaclar cleansing wash (gel or foam), followed by Effaclar Duo all over and Effaclar H on top of that on my cheeks.

After a couple of weeks of pretty horrid skin, everything changed and I now have smooth, clear, no make-up skin for the first time since I was 14 years old! Friends and family remark upon my skin and some are even envious. It’s brilliant and I highly recommend it.

Riggs’s review of the La Roche-Posay Kerium Cream Shampoo For Dry Scalps 200ml

Had been suffering terrible with dandruff for years with nothing seeming to work, including all the weird concoctions recommended by friends. This product started to work almost immediately and with regular use has completely cleared my dandruff. I cannot recommend this product enough and would urge anyone with a dandruff problem to give it a try; you won’t regret it!
