Inspired by the House’s fashion creations, the new Dior Addict shades revist the icon’s of the Dior fashion house and reinterpret their colour story. With a campaign fronted by American actress, Jennifer Lawrence, there won’t be many people that haven’t heard the campaign’s mantra ‘Shine don’t be shy’ over the past few weeks.

Designed by Peter Phillips, the Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup, the lipsticks are the perfect combination of colour pay off and shine, infused with an innovative hydra gel top coat that hydrates the lips on application. The perfect way to rock a statement lip during the winter, when the crisp air takes its toll on your lips, the hydrating formula will ensure your lips stay moisturised and styled with vivid colour and hypnotic shine.

So, without further a due let’s take a closer look at these new shades, and while we’re at it we better make some room in our lipstick wardrobe for two new, glittering additions.

The Perfect Pinky Nude

First up, 553 Smile, a pinky nude that glides over the lips with ease. The perfect everyday shade, Smile is the type of lipstick that would never leave my handbag. The elegant lipstick is embossed with the iconic CD logo, making you feel like a new woman every time you glide it over your lips! Despite being a nude you could never call this lip colour boring; its lustrous formula catches the light at every angle, ensuring your lips are the talk of the town. If you have to make a last minute lipstick decision you won’t go far wrong with Smile – and if it wasn’t obvious, its colour will have you beaming from ear to ear.

The Statement Lip

And last but most definitely not least, 976 Be Dior, a deep, audacious fuchsia that reminds me of the juice that runs from blackberries. With pink shimmer subtly running throughout, this lipstick is a statement, it shouts confidence and sensuality whilst remaining feminine and delicate. The perfect shade to ease yourself into bold colour, 976 Be Dior may just be my new autumn lipstick.
