I always get excited about spring when the makeup collections start to appear on the Escentual beauty desk, and this week the beauty team have been ogling the new Clarins Instant Glow Spring Makeup Collection.

All about restoring your skin’s glow after a cold, dark winter, the Clarins Instant Glow collection seems like just the ticket to achieve a fresh, luminous look. Comprising of four new (and permanent!) shades of the cream-to-powder Ombre Iridescente eyeshadows, Multi-Blush, Rouge Eclat Lipsticks and Instant  Light Natural Lip Perfectors, this Spring collection is one you’ll want to know about, and luckily we have all the info and the swatches…

Ombre Iridesente

in 04 Silver Ivory, 05 Silver Pink, 06 Silver Green & 07 Silver Plum

For spring 2016, Clarins has introduced four new enchanting shades of the luxurious Ombre Iridescente, the cream-to-powder eye-shadows that provide even colour and long-lasting hold. The perfect go-to if you’re unsure about eye-shadow or you’re a little stuck for time, the shimmering shadows glide seamlessly over the skin and leave amazing colour pay off that looks like you’ve spent hours perfecting your look. And the outside of the Ombre Iridescente eyeshadows are just as beautiful as what you find inside, with each pot having its own coloured mirrored lid that corresponds to the colour inside.

The new shades include:

04 Silver Ivory – An ethereal silver with a slight golden hue that captures the light beautifully from every angle. Silver Ivory is an amazing statement shadow when packed on the lid, but also when blended out the dazzling silver is the perfect shade to add a subtle glow to your lids, inner corner, brow-bone and cupid’s bow.

05 Silver Pink – A romantic pink with shimmer running throughout,  this shade would look beautiful against any eye colour. The go-to shade for creating a delicate, feminine make-up look, Silver Pink will add glowing radiance to any look.

06 Silver Green – This khaki green glistens with silver shimmer and is the perfect pick for someone that wants to ease themselves into colour. Whether packed on to create a vivid khaki shade by night, or blended to leave a soft wash of colour in the day, this shadow will be one of the most versatile in your collection.

07 Silver Plum – A mauve with an almost chocolately tone, I envisage that 07 Silver Plum will make every eye colour look piercing.  If you feel your make-up skills are not up to a smokey eye, this shadow will allow you to cheat your way there, packing on the colour on the lid and blending out the buttery formula at the crease.

Multi-Blush

If there’s one make-up item you need in your make-up bag during Spring its a cream blush, and luckily for us, the Clarins Instant Glow collection includes a new, very spring appropriate shade.
