Love At First Sight

The story of Nuxe begins with a woman, a city and an insatiable love for nature. Aliza Jabes, an inspired entrepreneur and mother, discovered the Nuxe brand in the early 1990s. At that time it was just a tiny natural skincare laboratory based in the heart of Paris – and as is the case with all grand romances in the City of Light, it was love at first sight.

Aliza has a hunch that she’d stumbled across a hidden treasure, and set about nurturing the brand’s unique philosophy, with innovation at its heart and the guiding principle of nature and luxury.

Nuxe’s first product was launched in 1991 after Aliza’s search for effective multi-purpose products was thwarted by a lack of elegance. So she decided that she would make her own. The result was Huile Prodigieuse, a sumptuous, multi-use oil that would go on to become synonymous with the Nuxe name. Crafted from a blend of botanical oils that are perfect for use on the face, body and in the hair, the product perfectly captures the essence of Nuxe: essential with a touch of glamour, and no compromise on results.

On its 25th year, and in the ultimate love letter to its home city, Nuxe presents a special edition of the iconic oil for 2016: Huile Prodigieuse Paris Edition. The timeless facade of the original bottle is transformed with a nighttime cityscape, taking us on a tour to the brand’s beloved city of Paris. From the glorious Panthéon to the iconic Eiffel Tower, with the atmospheric beauty of both the Notre Dame and the Sacré-Cœur in between, it’s a breathtaking journey.

The famous oil within remains completely unchanged, boasting a combination of six precious botanical oils in a 97.8% natural formula that’s free from parabens and silicone. Its sublime texture is so pleasurable to use, delighting the skin with infinite softness, and moisturising without leaving an oily film.
