The Formula
The Givenchy Teint Couture Cushion Foundation is almost too good to be true. I mean, not only does it look the part, but it’s full to the brim with ingredients destined to make your skin look better than ever.
Firstly, the fluid foundation has a very high water content and is infused with glycol, a humectant that keeps water on the skin’s surface, for optimally hydrated, plumped skin.
Secondly, a blur and go complex and polymer beads work at the heart of the formula, helping to keep skin smooth and radiant, whilst maintaining a natural finish that lets your skin shine through.
And last but certainly not least, long lasting pigments ensure the beautiful finish achieved, stays put, and any imperfections stay concealed.
The Shades
1 Fresh Porcelain is a fair, neutral-to-yellow shade that will suit most paler complexions.
3 Fresh Sand is a fair, slightly pink-toned shade.
4 Fresh Beige is a light to medium shade with neutral to pink undertones.
5 Fresh Honey is a warm medium shade with neutral undertones.
The Finish
Within seconds of applying the Givenchy Teint Couture Cushion Foundation my complexion appeared unified and luminous. The best way I can described the result is; bright, healthy and glowing.
With its light-to-medium coverage, the fluid foundation concealed any redness I had around my nose almost immediately and smoothed over any imperfections with ease, leaving my skin fresh, and if I say so myself, quite flawless!
With regards to longevity, the foundation definitely stood the test of time; come 6pm the foundation was still providing good coverage and my skin looked even and hydrated. Applying more foundation at the end of the day (to areas such as around my nose) didn’t end in a cakey disaster either; instead, the foundation adhered to skin beautifully, meaning on-the-go touch ups will be easy and stress-free. I’m definitely sold!
