Escentual Beauty Team Favourites June 2017 - Chelsey. Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Concentrated Essence, Guerlain Sous Oil Terracotta Huile Sous Le Vent and Laura Geller Liquid Gelato Pillow Top Illuminator in Glided Honey

Chelsey

1) Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Concentrated Essence

If you’re not sure what an essence can do for your skin, trust me when I say they’re game changing. As I don’t drink enough water, my skin can tend to look dull, so as soon as I read the Vinoperfect Essence ingredients list, I knew it was made me for me and my concerns. All it takes is a quick application in-between my toner and serum, and it has given me the quick fix I needed. The infusion of glycolic acid has helped me get towards my bare faced goals for holiday – I’m completely amazed at how much brighter my results are, from just two weeks of using it!

2) Guerlain Terracotta Enhancing Dry Oil

The oil of dreams? I think so! This is a complete holiday essential right here. As well as smelling of sunshine, sandy beaches and exotic lands, this magical oil doesn’t stop there. Multi-purpose and an all round holiday hero, the Guerlain Dry Oil can be used on your face, body and hair. which means it deserves pride of place in everybody’s luggage this holiday season. When my skin’s feeling a bit dry  I like to add a few drops into my foundation for an extra glowy finish.

3) Laura Geller Liquid Gelato Pillow Top Illuminator in Glided Honey

You may already know that I love the original Gilded Honey Powder, and now it’s available in liquid form – I’m even more excited. For me, a cream highlighter is my favourite way to add a glowy freshness to my foundation whilst on holiday. However, whilst at home, I like to wear it alone on my no makeup days or, I tend to double up my dewy dose for an evening look. It’s completely versatile and it’s 100% going in my suitcase for my Ibiza trip this month.

Escentual Beauty Team Favourites June 2017 - Ceryn. Valentino Donna Acqua Eau de Toilette, Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Oil and MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Color Paint

Ceryn

1) Valentino Donna Acqua Eau de Toilette

If there’s one thing I love about summer, it’s adorning a sweet-smelling scent! However, I have very strict criteria when it comes to fragrance, especially when it’s going to be the olfactory soundtrack to my summer. This year, I’ve had no trouble picking my signature, thanks to a very special new release, Valentino Donna Acqua, a fragrance that is equal parts elegant, fresh and delicious. Reminiscent of macaroons, Donna Acqua stole my heart at first sniff, and my other fragrances haven’t had a chance since – I highly recommend you all try it!

2) Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Oil

I love makeup, but I don’t love taking it off, so if something promises to make my cleansing routine easier and more enjoyable I’m always willing to give it a go! This month I have been testing out the Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Oil, an oil cleanser created with 87.2% natural origin ingredients. What makes this oil cleanser unique is its micellar technology, which captures impurities as you massage it in –  for making removing even waterproof makeup child’s play. But that’s not even it, the formula also supports the skin by neutralising the drying effects of hard water so that skin remains healthy and hydrated – who knew a super speedy cleanser could be so efficient!

3) MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Color Paint

Late last month we launched MAKE UP FOR EVER at Escentual and I have been obsessed ever since. I never thought it possible for one brand to have so many iconic products! One of their latest releases that I have been going back to time and time again is the Aqua XL Color Paints, specifically the shades I-42 and L-30 (I have a thing for shimmering eyeshadows). Waterproof and crease-proof, the gel-creams are an easy go-to when you want a little something on your eyes but are short on time. Available in an array of colours and finishes (iridescent, lustrous and matte), the Aqua XL Color Paints are at the top of my holiday packing list.
