Ordered this for my son as a birthday present, based on the description, and because it was gift wrapped didn't try it beforehand......No disappointment!!! He opened and tried it in a room full of people and it was bang on cue.... The first hit is pepper, quickly followed by the bergamot and incense - before the 'woody' notes kick in. Extremely well balanced; distinctive without being overwhelming - a big hit all round. The iconic bottle shape works well in this colour - looks and feels very classy.

Fragrance of the Forest

Wonderwood is one of the most individual and distinctive fragrances that it has been my pleasure to try. Undoubtedly masculine, it evokes for me the scents of the forest, with a definite hint of sawn timber and woodsmoke on the air.
Presentation is beautifully simple. The glass flacon with its gunmetal finish is shaped rather like a flattened pebble and sits well in the hand.
Personally, I consider Wonderwood the ideal mens fragrance for the country [and the perfect complement to tweeds perhaps!], but the scent would transport in mind the city dweller to a greener place.

A sophisticated fragrance long lasting and subtle, efective both on men and women, a little goes a long way. The smell is woody and very complex but having said that it is effective.
