Watercolour Blusher 15ml 15 15
Great blush! The Watercolour Blusher in the shade "Gentle" was the first non-powder blush I purchased, as well as my first Daniel Sandler product. No complaints about the packaging - it comes in a cute and practical little bottle which is easy to carry around in a standard size make-up bag. As for the product, it's very pigmented so you do have to be a tad careful when applying it - a little goes a very long way - but if you take care to blend it out before it sets you'll be fine. The shade itself is a lovely warm peachy colour with tiny glitter (almost undetectable) that dries out to a slightly dewy finish. I do wear it quite sheer as it does tend to become a little orange-y if over-applied. I was pleasantly surprised at how long this lasted on my oily-combination skin! It does fade a little without primer or setting powder, but I didn't have to touch it up during the day or anything. I purchased this with the recommended Waterbrush, which worked fine, but I wouldn't say it's essential to the product (as you can probably make do with a similar brush just to buff in the colour). Overall, this has become my new go-to blush! Now, to choose which shade to buy next.... ;) September 12, 2013
Only Just Discovered It Wanted a blusher that stayed on during the very hot weather, as most run as I get hot. I was not disappointed, this blusher is excellent. It's silky smooth, and can be as sheer or deep as you want, and only the smallest drop is needed as it goes a very long way. It appears to be waterproof which is just what I wanted. So all in all, I,m delighted with this product and have bought it in four different colours, plus the water brushes which make it a very easy application, although you can use your fingers if you prefer. Lovely blush I bought this as an alternative to MAC's creme blush in 'Ladyblush' which is a lovely, soft rose pink but doesn't last long before jt disappears, even with powder and primer. This is near identical in colour, and is a light cool toned pink (not baby pink- medium to deep) which works on my fair, cool toned skin. I have used the MAC blush with my fingers for years, so I found this really easy to apply. I press the skin of my hand right next to the opening of the bottle and tip a matchstick head sized amount onto my skin. I then use the fingers of my other hand to dip into the spot of colour and dab two or three spots in a line along my cheek bone before blending. If I need more colour, I build it just by repeating. The only problem is it still lasts no more than 3-4 hours on me, and I have normal 33 year old skin. Still, I'll buy it agin as it find the application more hygienic than sticking my fingers in creme blush. April 27, 2013
easy on the blusher The texture is excellent but the colour is very strong and needs to be brushed quickly and sparingly to avoid the 'painted doll' look. I don't think 'gentle' is quite the right description of the colour. I found it worked best mixed into some foundation liquid. February 25, 2013
