Emanuel Ungaro

Emanuel Ungaro is a respected fashion designer of Italian lineage.

He was born in 1933. Ungaros parents had migrated to France after escaping Brindisi and the fascist Italian rule. Ungaro learned how to sew as a young boy, thanks to the guidance of his father, Cosimo.

Ungaro started his very first menswear collection called Ungaro Uomo sometime in 1973.

His first perfume was the Diva launched a decade later.

He then followed it with other perfumes like Emanuel Ungaro For Men, Senso and Ungaro. Ungaro also forged a successful partnership with Salvatore Ferragamo.
