Experience high tolerance cleansing with the soap-free, fragrance-free and paraben-free La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet cleansing cream-gel, a nourishing formulation that protects skin from the effects of hard water.

The anti-irritant creamy gel was designed for use on extremely dry and uncomfortable skin that is prone to itchiness. It can be used by babies, children and adults as it is so gentle.

Made up of a 10% concentration of moisturising glycerin, deeply nourishing shea butter, and innovative niacinamide to help to restore the barrier function, the skin's comfort and suppleness are restored with each and every use.

Squeeze a small amount of Lipikar Syndet into the palm of the hand, apply to moistened skin, massage gently and rinse.

It Didn't Do What It Said It Would :( "...protects skin from the effects of hard water" "...designed for use on extremely dry and uncomfortable skin that is prone to itchiness." These were the key things in the description that made me want to try it out. However, it did nothing it said it would, and I was terribly disappointed, especially because it's from La Roche-Posay, one of my favourite skincare brands (along with Avene). My skin is extremely intolerant to hard water, so every bit of moisturizing and protection helps. I had really high hopes for this. After using it, my skin felt really tight, and as soon as I patted my skin dry, it would start to itch and show dry patches. I use another body cleanser from Eucerin, which does a way better job. I feel slightly bad for giving this product a low rating because I love LRP so much, but this really didn't do it for me :( May 3, 2013

You will feel clean, not dried out. This cleansing gel gets the work done, also in the sense that most people should only use it from the neck down. It might be fragrance-free, but it smells a bit like a swimming pool, slightly like chlorine in a very subtle gentle way. Maybe this helps you to feel more clean? April 28, 2013

Effective and non drying This is a workhorse cleanser. It does the job really well, producing a rich lather which I can massage into my face just adding more water to re-energise it. It removes stubborn make-up and leaves my skin squeaky clean but not unbearably tight. Excellent product to have in my cupboard at all times March 14, 2013

Gentle multi-purpose product I love using this as a face wash, body wash and a shampoo. I've got eczema-prone skin that has been quite dry this winter, this just works great for all uses, very gentle, fragrance-free and causes no irritations. I highly recommend it to those with delicate skin types. March 5, 2011
