Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsB12 Sun intolerant skin I suffer from PLE (polymorphic light eruption) and have spent years trying to find a sun cream that reduces the symptoms of this condition, finally I have! It glides on, soaks in and it's a bonus that it now comes tinted as trying to find a make up that doesn't slide off over suncreams is another nightmare! It protects you from UVA and UVB and although expensive it's worth every penny to sun intolerant skin. Try the oil for the body if you suffer from the above as that reduced the symptoms too. Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnaM great face cream This product was recommended to me by my consultant as a good protector against the sun for sensitive skin. I was wary but once I tried it, I can confirm that it is really light and non-greasy and this tinted version (I bought both the ultra light fluids) makes it a great foundation as well as a moisturiser. Rated 5 out of 5 by wave best sunblock for face I think the reason people love this tinted version is because it won't leave any white track on the face like the original version, and it is far lighter than the cream from LRP. This tinted fluid is super light and never break me out., together with the SPF 50 dry oil for body from LRP, will definitely a must have for me. March 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by jaguar7 This is the sunscreen of the decade Okay, so I don't know what kind of magic juju La Roche-Posay uses in this sunscreen, but I can confidently say that this is the best sunscreen I have ever used - bar none. A little background information: I'm a fairly active guy and have olive/tan combination skin that's more on the oily side. I've tried a couple of sunscreens in the past (Kiehl's, Neutrogena, big-name brands) and they either made me look as white as a ghost or made my face look like the Exxon Valdez oil spill. This sunscreen, though, does not come with any of those problems. The tint appears dark at first, darker than my skin tone, but it's completely invisible when spread on. It does not make me darker nor is there a dreadful white cast - but rather, it kind of gives my face a glow and makes me look healthier. Seriously - I was hanging out with a mate the very first day I used this and she remarked that I looked 'radiant'. It's miraculous, and I don't understand how it works, but I'm glad that I discovered this sunscreen. If you are on the fence, trust me when I say that you SHOULD get this sunscreen. It's just marvellous. The only issue is that application is a bit tough because it's very, very runny - I poured some on my palm and it slipped through my fingers and made a big mess, but just cup your palm and you'll be fine. The smell is also kind of weird - it doesn't have the typical spf smell, but it's quite different. It's not an issue though - it completely dissipates once I spread it on my face. 5*.
