Once upon a time there was a young woman, making her childhood dreams come true.

Charles Perrault's fairy tales were part of her childhood.

At age 6, she drew dresses that were "the colour of time" for the disguised princess in Perrault's tale. At 12, she was making her own clothes. As a teenager, she felt great admiration for Yves Saint Laurent, her idea of a prince of fashion, especially his famous smocking for women, the epitome of masculine-feminine style.

In the late 1970s, she began to work with Cacharel, putting her signature to collections for women and children. Lolita drew on her childhood fantasies to create her wedding dresses. Many artists and actresses have worn models from her line of bridal wear "Les Mariees de Lolita".

1997 saw the launch of Lolita Lempicka Fragrances. Her first fragrance, conceived as a fairy tale for women, is one of the biggest success stories of the last ten years.
