REN’s story begins with co-founders Rob Calcraft and Antony Buck who, after being continually disappointed by the poor choice of natural skincare available on the market, decided to create their own line.
Their first step was to find a cosmetic chemist, with whom the duo worked for years to develop the perfect balance of scent, texture and efficacy. Calcraft and Buck were adamant that each formula would be free of silicones, detergents and other skincare ‘nasties’, and today every single product in the REN skincare collection continues to boast an impressive ‘free from’ list that includes synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, petrolatum, sulfate detergents, synthetic colours, animal ingredients and parabens.
Named ‘REN’ after the Swedish word for ‘clean’, the collection focuses on delivering cutting edge skincare technology in a skin-friendly way.
