Avene Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion 200ml is rated out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chesca from Great, gentle cleanser I've finally found a face wash mild enough for my hypersensitive skin that doesn't cause a reaction (unlike Avene's micellar lotion which gave me eczema!). I'm not a fan of cream style cleansers because I don't feel they clean my skin properly, blocking pores instead, and making an oily T-zone even oilier. However, this product is great. It's light and mild so doesn't leave a residual film behind. I use this in combination with Avene's thermal spring water to wash my face day and night, using cotton wool pads to remove the dirt/product. The two work really well together and I've noticed the appearance of my skin has improved to looker clearer and brighter since beginning this new regime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elizabeth17 from Soothing and effective cleanser I currently only use Avene products to clean my face after my skin become intensely sensitive and reactive after allergic dermatitis last year. I have tried a few of the cleansers and my (not at all dry) skin loves this one. I use it morning and night, wiping it off with a good spritz of the Avene spray and a few cotton wool pads. Then I apply the Tolerance emulsion. This routine has really helped to lessen the sensitivity and reactivity of my skin (along with a factor 50 SPF). Would love it if Avene repackaged it in a bottle with a pump dispenser (like the Xeracalm cleansing oil).

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cindy83 from Dont like this cleansing lotion After using it, I still feel dry on my skin. Perhaps, my skin is too dry for it. I prefer Xera Calm cleansing oil instead, the oil made my skin smoother.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cromarty4 from Gentle cleanser post laser treatment I was recommended this cleanser after having laser treatment for my rosacea. It is an extremely gentle non irritating cleanser which did not irritate my skin and I would recommend it, but the only downside is that I think the manufacturers have made the tube too difficult to squeeze the cream out of the tube. You think the tube is empty when it actual fact there's quite a lot left. Why can't Avene use an ordinary tube as they do for other creams?
