People often ask me to recommend skincare brands – and “Caudalie” is one of the first words to escape from my lips. A selection of the brand’s natural, gentle products grace my own dressing table – and those of my friends and family, who I have plied with samples – and I would strongly recommend that you discover the collection too.
If the thought of sun-drenched vineyards in Bordeaux brings an instant smile to your face, you will find this range just as irresistible. Based amongst those vineyards, the French, family-run brand is at the forefront of anti-ageing skincare research, with the majority of products containing extracts from grapes and vines. The products are rich, luxurious, paraben-free, and suitable for even the most sensitive skin.
One of my favourite products is the Cleansing Water – I have used this twice daily for the past few years and I can’t imagine using anything else. If you are used to washing off a foaming cleanser, this might seem strange at first – but if you drench a cotton pad with this sweetly-scented water and swipe it gently over your face, you’ll be amazed by how much dirt it pulls from your skin. It feels soothing and afterwards, skin feels clean, supple and hydrated.
Another highlight is Caudalie Premier Crum – The Cream. Eye-wateringly expensive, but well worth the investment to experience the silky softness, increased firmness, and brighter, even-toned appearance of skin. A little goes a very long way and the beautiful scent of roses makes it a real pleasure to use. I started noticing results after just a week of nightly use.
I couldn’t finish this post without giving a mention to a few of the brand’s other highlights – Teint Divin Tinted Moisturiser (which gives skin a natural-looking, bronzed glow), Hand and Nail Cream (which is beautifully silky), and the Gentle Conditioning Shampoo (which makes locks soft, shiny and manageable).
If beauty products were wine, Caudalie would be the finest, vintage Champagne. There is so much science behind the brand – but at the end of the day, it’s the tempting textures, stunning scents, and gentle formulations that will hook you in and keep you coming back. I urge you to give it a go…

Caudalie Vinoclean Micellar Cleansing Water 200ml
I love Caudalie as a brand. I have creams, Beauty Elixir etc. I am very happy with all those products. That is why I was excited to try micelle water from the same company. What I do love : the smell and the package. However, it makes my skin very dryish and itchy. It cleans my cheeks and most of the face however the eyes......... or just my eyes become watery. My skin is oily and acne prone, however eyes are very sensitive. I will use it till the end avoiding eye area, but I will not purchase it again. :(
