Too Faced landed at Escentual last week, and we couldn’t be more excited. From cult bronzers to innovative foundations, every product is meticulously created with fun and effectiveness in mind.

Founded in 1998 by top Beverly Hills makeup artist Jerrod Blandino, Too Faced grew from very humble roots. Armed with only a credit card and a dream, Jerrod’s dissatisfaction with the lack of creativity, colour variety and selection of cosmetics led him to make a life changing decision – he would create his own.

His custom blends and unique formulations created for Too Faced the reputation of a niche, indie beauty brand that offered a more tailored approach to beauty. With this, Jerrod  soon attracted celebrity clientele of the highest order: Madonna!

And the rest, as they say, is beauty history.

Today Too Faced caters to all those with a love of creative, imaginative and fun-filled cosmetics, including Gwen Stefani, Sienna Miller, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. Their main focus is innovation, and as such their high-tech roster of lip plumpers , eye products, bronzers  and complexion enhancers  keep them ahead of the competition and at the forefront of beauty fans’ lust-have lists.

We have long had our own favourites here at Escentual. The Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer, £20.50 evens the complexion like nothing else, reducing pores and making skin look and feel brighter, fresher and more perfected.

The retro packaging of the Too Faced Brightening Blush, £16.50 alone is enough to make us keep one handy in our make-up bag, but the petal-soft and richly pigmented colour catapults it to the top of our blush hit list.

Perhaps our most favourite product, however, is the Too Faced Liquif-Eye Kit, £23.00. Not only does it include the Liquif-Eye Liner – in our opinion the most outrageously underrated beauty product ever! – it also includes a palette of twelve beautiful bright eye colours. Dip the Liquif-Eye Liner into any one of the colours to instantly turn it into an eyeliner. The perfect thing to satiate our liner fixation!
