My Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Baby Eau de Toilette started its life as a split-second blind purchase made just before Christmas, but it’s now quickly become my new daytime favourite. I wasn’t overly keen on the original Harajuku Lovers Baby as it had far too many white florals for my taste, but the new, revamped Baby has a tempting fruity vanilla blend. I had to have it.

The scent is truly delicious: sugary, soft and completely addictive. It’s probably the sweetest scent that I own, but it’s so delicate that I can wear it day in, day out without it getting right up my nose. Some of my favourite notes are Apple, Freesia, Orchid and Vanilla, and this scent has all four blended to perfection.

I spritz it onto my pulse points in the morning before dashing out of the door, and four hours on it’s always still going strong! It has surprising longevity for an eau de toilette.

The bottle looks hilarious in amongst all of my sombre bottles, but that makes me love it all the more. It’s also surprisingly portable – the sheer size of the plastic doll stopper makes it almost impossible for it to slide off accidently. In fact, I have it in my bag right now, snuggled down next to my obscenely large purse where it will stay until it’s all gone.

Give the scent a try – the 10ml sizes have just been released and at £13.00 a pop it’s a seriously fun little indulgence. I recommend both Baby and Lil’ Angel for fruity yet completely wearable spring/summer scents.
