From the very first spray, the fragrance delves into a remarkable spiciness, which is tempered by the slight bitterness of Orange and the zestiness of Bergamot. Straight away the fragrance reveals its sensual character, which deepens further as the scent unfurls. Heady flora of Jasmine and Rose present themselves fully bloomed, supported by aromatic Balsamic Notes and creamy Vanilla in the dry down.

The ambery floral Shalimar Parfum Initial is supremely wearable, and its likeness to the original will delight Shalimar fans old and new. The beautiful flacon  is reworked with curvaceous glass and a rose pink juice. The stopper is finished in a beautiful translucent blue, while the traditional neck tie of the original Shalimar is replaced by a charming blue tassel that bears the crest of Guerlain.
