Christmas is all about giving, rather than receiving, of course – but this week, I am going to indulge myself by creating my very own Escentual.com wish list. I might even leave this page open on my computer in full view of my husband, with a post-it note attached to the screen reading ‘HINT HINT’…
If you’re looking for things to buy for friends or family (or for items for your own wish list, of course), I hope this blog post gives a little festive inspiration!
Crabtree & Evelyn Noel Three Fragranced Candles, £25 for three.
Christmas isn’t Christmas without a warming, nostalgic fragrance filling the air – and these hand-poured candles will create a gorgeous ambience in the lounge over the festive period. They are scented with fresh evergreens, bayberry, cranberry, orange, persimmon, cinnamon and star anise.
Clarisonic Pink Classic, £155
I’m a big fan of the Clarisonic cleansing system and this pretty pink version would look great on my bathroom shelf. It’s not just a pretty face, of course, boasting two different speeds to cleanse skin quickly and effectively. As an added bonus, a proportion from every sale goes to the charity Look Good… Feel Better.
How cute is this purple Marc Jacobs purse, containing a travel-sized bottle of Lola and spare 20ml refill? I always forget to apply perfume before running out the door in the morning and this set would ensure I always had a bottle of my favourite scent to hand (and a beautiful new purse too!)
L’Occitane Shea Butter Gift Set, £27.57.
If you haven’t yet tried the rich, hydrating luxury of L’Occitane’s Shea Butter range, this gift set offers the perfect excuse to try it. It contains Shea Butter Hand Cream, Ultra Rich Shower Cream, Shea Butter Foot Cream, Shea Milk Soap and Shea Lip Balm. I’d be thrilled to unwrap it on Christmas morning.
Harajuku Lovers have created this fun limited edition festive fragrance for Christmas. Not only is the scent itself totally moreish (with Star Fruit, Tangerine, Honeysuckle and Vanilla), but the bottle is guaranteed to bring a smile to the lucky recipient’s face. The price is brilliant too.
I’m hosting a big party on New Year’s Eve this year and would love to receive this luxury Tigi Bed Head gift set to get my hair in perfect condition before the big night. With After Party Style Prepper, Headrush Shine Spray, and Maxxed-Out Hairspray, I can look forward to a boost in volume, shine, and texture.
It’s not every day that you spend £16.50 on a bottle of nail polish for yourself – so there would be something very indulgent about painting this stunning gold hue onto nails over the festive season. For me, this is the jewel in Dior’s beautiful Christmas 2011 range.
