With the Olympics being just a few short months away, we’re seeing a plethora of sports related fragrance releases at Escentual. One of our favourites is this new one from Hugo Boss (a favouritism that is ever-so-subtly aided by the fact that it is fronted by the lovely Jensen Button!).
Cooling, refreshing and intensely masculine, Boss Bottled Sport is a scent inspired by the endurance needed to succeed in sport. The composition is as driven and dynamic as a seasoned sportsperson, and those who aim for victory in everything that they do.
A sense-sharpening top accord of citrusy grapefruit and yuzu zest is enhanced by the spicy heat of pink peppercorn. A resonating heart of aromatic lavender and cardamom is made metallic with an aldehydic mist, which is the driving force behind this high-tech fragrance. This rests on a smooth dry down of vetiver, tonka bean and patchouli, which makes for a deeply sensual finish to a high impact scent.
Despite the metallic quality of the fragrance Boss Bottled Sport is incredibly wearable, offering a burst of lively and energetic notes that invigorate the senses. It stands out from crowd with its carbon fibre-inspired composition, and changes dynamically from bright citrus to resonating woods. It’s the perfect scent for a summer of sport!
