Beauty Hits and Misses

First Olympics event – in our home city!
The first Olympics event was hosted in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium yesterday, a big honour for our lovely city. Team GB took on New Zealand in the women’s football – and we won!

Couture Fragrance Launches
This week saw two of the biggest launches of the year – and they’re both based upon fun-filled couture style. From Guerlain there was the uber chic Petite Robe Noire, and from Marc Jacobs there was the gorgeous Dot Eau de Parfum.

 Sun Sun Sun
Wow – the weather has been incredible this week! Make sure that you’re well protected from the sun’s rays with an appropriate SPF – check out our guide to selecting the right SPF for your skin type.

Parched Swim Hair
The warmer weather has given me the boost I need to go swimming again – but while it’s been great for waking me up in the morning and making me feel fitter, all of that chlorine is rubbish for my already dry hair. Philip Kingsley Swimcap has been an ideal rescue remedy.

Makeup Bag Downsizing
Scaling down for holiday packing isn’t the most fun task. Make the chore a little brighter by shopping for cute little miniature sizes of your favourite products.

Uneven Tanning
I’m actually developing a tan from all of this sunshine! My face still needs to catch up to the rest of my body though, so I’ve been liberally spraying the Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder Mist SPF10 onto my complexion in lieu of foundation. Review coming soon!
