I’ve got a beauty crush! It’s true – I may appear onscreen myself (the small screen, admittedly) but I’m not immune to the occasional movie-star infatuation and right now I’m having a Megan Fox moment.

I was chilling out last week, watching back-to-back DVDs with my mates, when I found myself totally transfixed by Megan. I’d forgotten how hot that girl is – all glowing skin and a luscious pout. So I thought I’d have a go at recreating Ms Fox’s beauty look myself.

How To Do A Megan Fox Plum Lip Makeup Look

Step 1: Get Glowing

Just like me, Megan’s a fan of gorgeously glowing, bronzed skin. Unlike Miss Fox, however, I can’t rely on the LA sunshine to give me a natural tan, so I’m faking it with St Tropez Instant Glow Wash Off Face Lotion. A hint of blusher creates that sexy Fox flush, so next up smooth Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blusher across the apples of your cheeks, using your fingers to blend in the colour. Of course, a movie-star look means flawless skin, so I’ve also used bareMinerals Original SPF15 Foundation, applying it with a brush to create a super-smooth, blemish-free finish.

Step 2: Alluring Eyes

Megan loves smoky eye make-up – and so do I. It’s a classic look that’s brimming with sex appeal and easy to achieve. Start by creating a smooth, even base – simply blend bareMinerals Prime Time Brightening Eye Primer all over the eyelids. Then apply Daniel Sandler Sheer Satin Shadow in Gilded Taupe along the socket line and along the lower lash line, focusing on the outer corners of the eye.

Next up, draw Daniel Sandler Long Lasting Waterproof Eyeliner in Black Velvet along the upper lash line, again concentrating the colour in the outer corners. Don’t worry about getting a perfect line – the result you’re after is sultry and smoky, so use an eyeshadow brush to smudge and blend, giving you that sexy “just tumbled out of bed” look.

Finish off the eyes by curling your eyelashes and applying lashings of mascara; I used bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara.

Step 3: Luscious Lips

Megan is famous for her fabulous pout, so drop-dead gorgeous lips are a must for this look. I started by applying Clarins Rouge Eclat Lipstick in a shade called Red Wine, using a lip brush to ensure I achieved a perfectly shaped pout. Then I applied Guerlain Maxi Shine Lipgloss, but only to the centre of the lips – this is a clever make-up artist’s trick that makes your mouth look extra sensual and pouty, as if you’d just sexily licked your lips!

Step 4: LA Woman

Finally, finish the look with a dusting of bronzer along the forehead, nose and cheeks, which will give your skin a super-fit, LA glow just like Megan’s. I applied Clarins Bronzing Duo in Medium.

Me, I reckon I look pretty damn Foxy! I love the finished result, and as they say in the movies: “I’m ready for my close-up”. Hollywood, here I come…
