Binky’s Favourite Spring Scents

Binky Spring Fragrances

Binky's Signature

Hello beauty buddies!

Easter is just around the corner and I’m looking forward to a long weekend of egg hunts and scoffing chocolate!

There have been a whole array of new releases in the fragrance world of late, and I’ve really been enjoying getting stuck in and sniffing out my favourites. Personally, I prefer to wear scents that are light and refreshing when the weather is warmer, saving the stronger, more potent fragrances for the wintertime. So without further ado, here are my top 5 spring scent selections!

Vivienne Westwood Sunny Alice Eau de Toilette Spray
This scent really is spring in a bottle – it’s refreshing, light and breezy. I’m not one for very heavy fragrances during the day in spring, so this is ideal for day-to-day wear. It mixes fresh notes of mandarin and sea breeze with muskier vanilla and sandalwood tones, resulting in a fresh but exotic aroma. It’s a limited edition fragrance, though, so make sure you snap it up fast!

Chloe Roses de Chloe Eau de Toilette Spray
A must for girly girls, this warm and elegant scent from Chloe is fabulous for spring. It echoes the musky tones of the original Chloe perfume (which I adore!) but includes notes of damascene rose essence. It’s a fragrance fit for all occasions, from dinner with your parents, a day out shopping with the girls or even a first date!

Cartier La Panthere Eau de Parfum Spray
When I think of Cartier, opulence and luxuriousness immediately spring to mind, and their La Panthere perfume certainly fits this description. As the name suggests, it’s an alluring, captivating scent, with sensuous notes of gardenia, chypre and musk. A real head-turner!

Crabtree and Evelyn Pear and Pink Magnolia Eau de Toilette Spray
I hadn’t actually tried a Crabtree and Evelyn fragrance before this one, but it was love at first sniff for me! It’s a really fruity scent with distinctive lemon and pear notes that are perfect for this time of year. A good tip to make the scent stronger and longer lasting is to layer it with the matching moisturiser, which smells equally divine.

Jimmy Choo Flash London Club Eau de Parfum Spray
When I laid my eyes on this dazzling jewel-like bottle, I knew the scent encased would ooze pure glamour – and I wasn’t mistaken! This Jimmy Choo scent is inspired by the London party girl and the glitz and glam of the city’s nightlife. It’s a modern fragrance combining notes of lychee, musk and bergamot to create a gorgeously sweet, opulent aroma. I love to douse myself in this before a big night out – although the scent has a distinctive sweetness to it, it’s not too overbearing and so is perfect for spring.

Have a lovely choc-filled Easter, and I’ll see you next week!
