When it comes to eye makeup, DIOR have the category nailed. With inspiration that ranges from the runway all the way through to street style, their wardrobe of eye enhancing make-up helps you to make the most of your best feature, effortlessly.
DIOR’s latest innovation is Diorshow Maximizer 3D (formerly known as Diorshow Maximizer), a plumping serum-stroke-primer that transforms your lashes with dramatic volume, length and curl. To supplement this reinvention of an icon, DIOR has also launched a new brow kit, Diorshow All-In-Brow 3D, and their Diorshow Mono eyeshadows have been transformed with new shades and new textures inspired by couture fabric.
Here’s how we’ve been wearing this brand new eye wardrobe…
Step 1: The Wow Brow
Newly launched, Diorshow All-In-Brow 3D is the answer to every question you’ve ever had about grooming your brows. Though compact and handbag-friendly, the luxurious all-inclusive kit manages to fit in two brow powders, a brow wax, two slanted brushes and a mini spoolie – all ready to help fill in, shape and set your brows with a chic, natural-looking finish.
The powders are creamy and easily workable, letting you build up your desired intensity with ease. Simply take a little powder onto your brush, and fill in sparse places with short, quick strokes that mimic the look of your brow hair. When you’re happy with the colour and shape, run a little of the wax through your brows to set your look. Easy! The little spoolie is a real bonus – there’s nothing better for taming errant hairs.
The Diorshow Mono eyeshadow collection has relaunched with a sleek new look and a fresh collection of shades inspired by the world of Dior fashion. Taking its cues from the sumptuous texture of fabric, each ultra-pigmented shadow dresses eyes with intense colour and a custom finish, from everyday matte and silk, all the way through to extravagant glitter and lamé.
Our favourite? 026 Techno, a metallic silver shadow that is so high fashion it hurts. Above, we let the unique texture of the shadow speak for itself by packing the colour onto the lid and bringing it down to the lower lash time. For more intensity, wet your brush before use, or try a metallic ribbon of liner on the top lid for a toned-down daytime look.
Step 3: The False Lash Effect
And finally, the main show: an oversized, 3D lash look. The priming, lash amplifying care of Diorshow Maximizer has been reimagined as Diorshow Maximizer 3D, with more volume-boosting power than ever before. It’s the perfect base; not only does the oil-infused formula nourish and improve the appearance of your natural lashes, but the bright white, buildable primer also sculpts each lash with enhanced length, volume and curl for a wide-eyed effect.
We followed up here with the Diorshow Mascara in 258 Pro Blue, a subtle navy hue. On Ceryn’s left eye is a combination of primer and mascara, and on the right is the mascara used alone. You can see how Maximizer 3D has defined every last lash – it’s even boosted the navy hue of the mascara, creating a perfect finish.
