February is all about freshness. In only 28 days, we’ve seen Good Girl finally arrive in the UK, a new mascara launch with a BANG, and to top it all off, we’ve bagged ourselves a worldwide exclusive that’s making waves in the skincare industry too!

With Chelsey obsessing over skincare, Emma discovering her go-to mascara and Ceryn focusing her sights on a summer glow, there’s something for everyone in this month’s edition of Beauty Team Favourites…

February is the month of love, so it’s no wonder that I’ve fallen head over heels for a handful of beauty treats this month. And, despite being the shortest month of the year I have a favourites list as long as my arm, but I’ve somehow managed to whittle it down to my top 3 finds that I think you should know about…

GUERLAIN Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Powder
Throughout winter my skin loses its glow. So, I turn to makeup to warm up my complexion, and nothing does it quite like GUERLAIN Terracotta. I have been a huge fan of the Terracotta collection for years, so the Light Healthy Glow Powder was at the top of my must-try list this month. A fusion of bronze and peachy hues with a subtle shimmer, it creates a dreamy sunkissed aura that I never want to be without.

Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau De Parfum
I’ll admit, I loved Carolina Herrera Good Girl before I even smelt the perfume. Firstly, the bottle is absolute dressing table goals and made for anyone with a shoe addiction. Secondly, its face is one of my girl crushes’, Karlie Kloss, and lastly, it stands for female empowerment – what’s not to love? Of course, the scent needed to seal the deal and it did not disappoint! A white floral with a sophisticated sensuality, Good Girl is the fragrance I chose to wear on my Valentine’s date.

Nuxe Aquabella Micro-Exfoliating Purifying Gel

Exfoliators are the one skincare item that I’m really fussy about. If it doesn’t leave my skin feeling fresh and revitalised then I’m out. Luckily, my latest exfoliator find has ticked all the boxes and smells divine too! The exfoliator in question is the Nuxe Aquabella Micro-Exfoliating Purifying Gel, a cleanser/exfoliator hybrid that’s targeted towards oily complexions, however, provides hydration aplenty. Packed with botanical blue micro-beads that smooth the skin texture and deeply cleanse, its a formula to take note of, especially if you love your skin to feel super clean. You can read more about the Aquabella range here.

Apart from wondering ‘how are we at the end of February already?’, this month, amongst discovering the most dreamy floral fragrance for spring, I’ve been busy working hard testing out a few skincare essentials that are set to become future beauty heroes! A mix of both practical and pretty, here are my ultimate February favourites…

ALAÏA Paris Nude Eau de Parfum Spray
I smelt ALAÏA Paris Nude back in November 2017, and I’ve been longing for it to launch ever since. Creamy, comforting and all-around amazing, I can’t stress enough how much you need to try this fragrance, especially if you love powdery oriental scents with a milky twist.

Nuxe Aquabella Beauty-Revealing Essence-Lotion
I’m no stranger to skincare essences (you can read my views on skincare essences here); I love the way that they make my skin look and feel, and even more so now I’ve been using the Nuxe Aquabella Beauty-Revealing Essence-Lotion. I love that this re-balancing essence is made from 93% natural origin, which my skin tends to favour! Its Natural Blur Complex is doing a fine job at tackling my pore size, and after only two weeks in, I can report that I’m a very happy lady so far!

Bioderma Atoderm SOS Spray
I actually discovered the Bioderma Atoderm SOS Spray by accident, and I’m so glad I did now! This may sound strange, but when I eat certain foods, my body tends to itch – weird I know, but this handy can of soothing magic has really helped to calm my skin and stop my urge to scratch!

At last, we’re in touching distance of spring. Can I get a ‘woohoo’ from the beauty lovers in the back? We can finally break out that pretty floral fragrance without feeling like a fraud! And I’ve got a doozy of a pretty spring floral for you in my favourites round-up, plus a skincare essential that everyone will love and a mascara that you’ll have definitely heard a lot about…

Nuxe Huile Prodgieuse Riche
There are some products that Chelsey, Ceryn and I have a bit of a tussle over when it comes to monthly favourites – and this new must-have from Nuxe is one of them. Despite having very different tastes when it comes to skincare buys, Huile Prodigieuse Riche has united us in our love for multipurpose skincare that just works. The rich (but not too rich) oil is a more pampering version of the iconic Huile Prodigieuse, and it’s the answer to all winter beauty woes. Chelsey reports that it’s the perfect partner for a blow-dry, and Ceryn loves how it’s helping her to manage the dry skin on her body. And me? Well, it’s giving my dull post-winter complexion such a glow.

Elie Saab Le Parfum In White Eau de Parfum
When you think Elie Saab, you think statuesque glamour. You think couture. You think weddings. That’s the inspiration for this diaphanous new floral fragrance, which tugs at the orange blossom thread of the original perfume to reveal a distinctly bridal bouquet of jasmine accented with white musk and white amber. And if there aren’t any wedding bells on the horizon? This playful yet elegant perfume is too special to be hemmed into one category – it works for any moment you want to feel utterly beautiful!

Benefit BADgal BANG! Mascara
The launch of the brand new Benefit BADgal BANG! Mascara will surely become the stuff of beauty legend – no one does a product reveal quite like Benefit, do they? It came at just the right time, too, as I’m coming to the end of my tether with my short, sparse and mistreated lashes. Finding a mascara that delivers pretty lashes without clumps is my Everest, but I’ve come close to planting my flag on the top of the mountain with BADgal BANG!. One layer of this silky formula is enough to stretch my lashes into a pretty, volumised flutter that doesn’t feel crunchy, flaky or spidery. My search for the perfect mascara is on pause… for now!
