The fragrance is warmed through by a leather accord, made using the exquisite musky tones of cistus along with the cosy and creamy essence of vanilla absolute; this blends with cistus to recall the feeling of warm leather, enhanced by the smokiness of incense and the spiciness of cardamom. The luxury begins before you even get to the scent! The bottle comes in a sleek white box; you remove the lid, and the lacquered black bottle lies elegantly inside. When you pick it up, the bottle feels heavy, sleek and refined, with a brown ribbon necklace adorning its neck, with a silver diamond-shaped charm embossed subtly with the iconic VCA lettering. As you run your fingers over the sleek black glass, you can tell that even the label is made from thick and high-quality paper, while the black lid feels weighted, too.
