The relaxed heart of tobacco leaves a smokiness that clings to a bouquet of white florals made up of rich ylang-ylang and honeyed neroli (orange blossom), but it’s the sweet tuberose and heady jasmine that really take centre stage here.

As I mentioned above, Michael Kors Gorgeous! feels like a more classically feminine YSL Libre. Somehow, Libre’s androgynous lavender tone seems to linger in the background (even though it isn’t listed in the notes!) and the sexiness has been amped up with the smooth, laid-back tobacco note. Like Libre, the creamy sweetness of Michael Kors’ fragrance feels extremely calming and is loaded with a whole host of uplifting and classy white florals. Another fragrance it reminds me of – but isn’t as heroed as Libre – is Lancome La Nuit Tresor Nude, but without the coconut tropical vibe!

What’s The Longevity Like?
Gorgeous! stays on the skin for around 4 hours. When I tried it, I sprayed the Eau de Parfum in the morning and topped up at lunch to keep the optimism and confidence going.

The small engraving around the bottle’s neck – stating “Hello Gorgeous!” – is there to greet you every time you pop off the lid to remind you: I am gorgeous! Plus, the rose gold detailing and clean lines gives us that modern, glamorous feel that we all associate with Michael Kors’ classic watches, bags and clothing – which fans will know and love.
