Like the entire wood series, this scent has a strong sense of woods. The dark citrus, dry woods and green-fresh tone gives the signature a traditional tone that feels effortlessly classic. The bright opening of citron, lemon primofiore and pink pepper is followed by a woody green Haitian vetiver, Virginian and Alaskan cedarwood and silver fir heart. As you wear the fragrance throughout the day, 2 Wood transitions into a sensual base of warm vegetal amber, musk and exclusive mineral vulcanolide, which sits close to the skin for lasting scent.

What’s The Longevity Like?
This fragrance lasts for about 6 hours on my skin; I had to top up throughout the day to keep the fresh citrus woodiness alive.

A fan of the collection would recognise the traditional Dsquared2 design reflected throughout the Wood line. The luxurious design of the bottle has a handcrafted magnetic cap with a bark-like texture to mimic the appearance of wood, while it’s embossed with the fashion house’s iconic maple leaf signature to honour the Caten twins’ Canadian upbringing.
