KENZO Homme Eau de Parfum Review

KENZO Homme Eau de Parfum Review

Continuing KENZO’s commitment to sustainability, KENZO Homme Eau de Parfum is a woody-aquatic scent that blends the freshness of the outdoors with the rugged nature of leather. And if you want to walk into a room and have heads turn to find the source of *that* bold fresh scent, you need to give it a try.

Read on to find out more with my KENZO Homme review…

This Fragrance Smells Like…

Homme by KENZO starts with a cool marine accord that becomes one with your skin, projecting above and beyond the warmer earthy notes to maintain a fresh intensity. The heart of leather adds a layer of warmth before the fragrance’s depth is intensified by the spicy base of patchouli. The patchouli creates a sensuous woody tone that isn’t overwhelming – the cool marine notes of the top encourage the patchouli to create a green tinge rather than a rich earthiness.

What’s The Story Behind This Scent?

Homme Eau de Parfum is designed to reconnect the wearer with nature. The scent is inspired by the freedom of the outdoors, specifically the strength and flexibility of the bamboo shoot.

You Will Love This If…

If you love crisp clean scents, you’ll love Homme Eau de Parfum; its initial cool rush feels like a breath of fresh ocean air.

This Perfume Smells Similar To:

Homme Eau de Parfum has a similar ocean feel to KENZO Homme Eau de Toilette Intense. They both have an invigorating and fresh energy, although the Eau de Parfum has the alluring, sexy leather note without the sweetness of fig or vetiver found in the Intense EDT.

Is KENZO Homme Eau de Parfum Unisex?

If you enjoy aquatic scents with a woody undertone, you’ll love KENZO’s cool Homme scent. The lack of sweetness and rough leathery accord gives it a traditionally masculine feel.

What’s The Longevity Like?

KENZO Homme Eau de Parfum lasts and lasts – on my skin and clothes it stayed put for seven hours after only two sprays.

What’s Special About The Bottle?

The blue-toned black bottle is a dark and mysterious take on the classic KENZO bamboo design. The bamboo design is completed by an angled cap that’s inspired by the blade of a samurai sword.

Values?

The bottle is made using 15% recycled glass. What’s more, its weight has been reduced by 23%, so it can hold 10ml of additional fragrance. The cap has been created to save 34% of plastic compared to its initial design, while the outer cardboard box is made using untreated kraft paper and FSC-certified paper materials, which is printed with bio-based inks.
