The product is about to expire soon
I like Clarins, but the product on Escentual was produced in 2019, when I got the mask, I found it would be expired in a few months. Very disappointed.

Not as hydrating as I hoped
My skin sometimes becomes dry/combination as well as dehydrated, and gets worse in extreme weather.
This product is a good hydration booster on normal/slightly dehydrated skin, but is not so effective at the times when my skin becomes particularly dry.
I will probably order the SOS Comfort Balm next time which seems more suitable for older and drier skins.
On the plus side, this mask has a smooth creme-gel texture which applies evenly and sinks in where it's needed, and like all Clarins products smells beautiful.

Gently hydrating
This face mask is so gentle on my sensitive, slightly blemish prone skin and doesn’t break me out, considering it being slightly scented. The scent reminds me of aftersun and is in fact very good for soothing my itchy skin!
The product formula itself is very smooth and light, not too thick and easy to apply with fingers. I leave this on for 10 minutes as recommended on the product and then wash away with my hands. The first time I tried this mask I instantly felt a change in the texture and look of my skin! My skin felt instantly smooth and supple, like I’d just woken up from a good nights sleep. I tried washing this mask away with a flannel but found the results were not as good and didn’t leave my skin refreshed as when washed away with my hands.
If you’re looking for a quick solution for dehydrated skin buy this! It is also great for sensitive skin as it’s so light and not at all heavy or overpowering. Love it!
