BEWARE!!!
Clarins have changed the formula so if you’ve used their products for years, don’t expect to receive Clarins Paris. What you’ll get is Clarins Aroma, a very different smell and consistency and a total betrayal by Clarins to market these products in similar packaging as if they are the original. I got caught out by purchasing my favourites, (tonic shower gel, relax shower gel and the eau dynamisante body lotion), as they were all visually presented as you would expect if you’d bought all of these before. There was absolutely no indication that they had altered the products significantly and in my opinion ultimately for the worse! The original shower and bath gels had a beautiful strong aroma that lasted and permeated the room. They lathered with very little usage and they foamed luxuriously in the bath water. The “new” products have a shaving foam consistency that dissipates in the water and doesn’t wash without using loads of it. The aroma is like a “fake” version of the original. The original body lotion spread over the skin beautifully due to its light consistency and the aroma lasted on the skin and clothes for hours. The replacement is a tacky cream with hardly any discernible smell. Shame on you Clarins for deceiving me and probably many others. In return I shall never, ever purchase another of your products again.
