The Purifying Cleanser is packed with botanical ingredients and is held in a sage-green recyclable tube that’s formulated with recycled materials. Plus, it uses natural-origin beads to buff away at the skin and refine it’s texture by deeply cleansing away trapped dirt, oil and dead cells while moringa extract purges dulling pollutants. At the heart of this daily face wash lies two Alpine herbs - gentian and lemon balm - in Clarins’ Gentle Complex, which offers a mild and soothing yet thorough cleanse every day. Oiliness is reduced as meadowsweet extract hinders the over-production of sebum for a mattified and refreshed complexion that glows without being greasy.

The best way to use it:

Warm the whipped white cream between your hands, add some water and work into a lather. Gently press your hands onto your face and distribute the lather evenly, then gently press your hand on and off skin to lift away impurities and pollution. Splash with cool water and pat the complexion dry. Use every morning and evening as the first step in your skincare routine.

The smell is lovely and the addition of the exfoliation beads lifts the product to a new high. Very rich and foamy, the product made my face feel ultra clean. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a refreshing cleanser which makes your skin feel smooth and silky

Rated 5 out of 5 by Annah from Clarins - dependable as always! I’ve always used the cottonseed face-wash for my skin but after post natal super greasy skin, I decided to give this facewash a try. Lovely clean Clarins smell, leaves skin lovely and matte but not dried out. Small beads provide very gentle exfoliation. Can remove a light layer of makeup when used with warm water. Lovely product, will be repurchasing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wking999 from nice winter cleanser this is good... rinses off nicely and has a nice smell. I have combination skin, and it is a bit sensitive, so find it a bit heavy. It's great as a cleanser for winter, as it has a creamy base it works. but probably not for summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Becks1234 from Favourite cleanser ever This is a fantastic cleanser, I've only been using it a month and it is already my favourite (and I have tried them all!). It is a bit pricey but you literally only need a pea sized amount and it makes such a good lather. Because of this I think it's great value for money as a tube lasts ages, some of the cheaper ones I need to use loads of to get all of my foundation off but this just seems to clean it all away so easily. I use a normal flannel when I rinse it off as the very helpful clarins lady at the counter when I first got it said this is one of the best ways to exfoliate and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean. I would highly recommend this, I have quite oily skin and get lots of spots but it does look clearer since using this.
