Medicinal scent
Very highly scented - medicinal. Can see it moisturised but I’m not a fan of the smell at all because it lingers for so long.

Desert Island Product
I can’t be without a tube of 8 hour cream.
It’s a total essential, I keep one by my bed, one in my handbag, you get the idea...
Nothing has bettered it when it comes to hydrating lips, and keeping them soft and smooth, or fixing them super fast when chapped.
It’s ideal for cuticles, rubbing into the nail plate, using the remains to hydrate my knuckles especially in winter. Use the tiniest amount to make brows extra glossy, and cheat a highlight on your brow bone and cheeks.
Possibly the only thing I don’t do is use it on my face to fake that ‘8 hours sleep’ look, for me it ends up looking a little greasy not fresh and dewy.
I think the smell is a love or hate thing. To me it smells olde world pharmacy full of those glass jars, and the smell is now soothing and comforting, but I get why others may prefer the fragrance free version.
But I don’t care, this -along with spf - would be my desert island product. I’ve been using it for 15+ years, and can’t imagine ever being without it.

Worked well to relieve dry and irritated skin that other creams had not touched. It is a go to for problem areas, I find it to heavy for every day use.,

If you can get past the scent...
This cream works wonders on my feet overnight but I wouldn't use it anywhere else. I was stunned by the overpowering and overwhelming smell of ... how to put this nicely ... horse manure. Seriously, you cannot escape the scent. I tried it as a hand cream but it wouldn't even absorb into the skin. Once I added a bit of my favourite body lotion the product did finally penetrate the skin but even the diluted cream kept smelling bad.
