Uriage Cleansing Oil 500ml

€21.56

Nourish your skin as you remove impurities with the Uriage Cleansing Oil, a soap-free hypoallergenic makeup removing cleanser suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and very dry conditions.

With an ultra-soft cleansing base, the Cleansing Oil effortlessly eliminates makeup, sebum, dirt and debris from the skin. Even waterproof and stubborn makeup is captured by the oil and lifted away from the face and eyes, leaving the complexion completely clear. It’s been ophthalmologically tested for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers too, ensuring no irritation or stinging.

Not only does the soap-free cleanser rid the skin of dirt, but it infuses it with a plethora of nourishing and hydrating ingredients. The skin’s moisture level is preserved to leave it feeling soft and comfortable after washing. Dryness is prevented with sunflower oil, while cranberry oil protects the skin and enhances its radiance.

Formulated with 25% glycerin, the cleansing oil creates an invisible and non-greasy film over skin to allow moisture to deeply penetrate the epidermis, shield against environmental aggressors and strengthen skin’s moisture balance. The complexion is protected from the drying effects of hard water, while the inclusion of Uriage Thermal Water keeps skin soothed and hydrated.

Why We Love It

Despite being an oil, the cleansing has a unique gel-like texture like nothing else we’ve ever tried. The golden liquid dissolves upon contact with water to create an almost milky emulsion, with a light floral fragrance that refreshes and subtly lingers on the skin. Cleansing has never felt so pampering!

How To Use It

Pump one to two drops of oil onto dry hands and apply to dry skin. Massage the oil in circular motions, and add a little water to emulsify using light smoothing strokes. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Works Well With

Uriage’s products all contain their renowned Thermal Water, so why not pair this cleansing oil with a nourishing face cream from their moisturisers collection?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous shower oil I’ll admit I only bought this because something else I wanted to try was out of stock, but I’m glad I did. It smells divine, in the holiday/French way, and leaves my skin feeling clean, and properly soft & moisturised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A delight to use and generous bottle. I love this cleanser - it's not oily like the dermalogica pre cleanse, it doesn't actually feel all that greasy/oily at all. It is though a gentle cleanser that doesn't leave my face feeling squeaky-stripped of all natural moisture. It is mildly scented and it reminds me of holidays in France - which, every day in the shower is a rather pleasant experience. The size is supremely generous and a bottle lasts for ages. I've been using it over the past year and at points I overdid actives, like retinol and vitamin c, and this was always easygoing and never felt stingy or harsh. A side note is the pump bottle - what joy to not be fiddling with caps and lids. A keeper, for sure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not an oil! This is not what I would consider to be an oil cleanser. It is a standard foaming cleanser. Leaves skin feeling tight after use. Fragranced and smells cheap. A great size but not a great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frustrating I get very frustrated when companies make and market products for those with sensitive skin that are heavily fragranced. It's totally unnecessary and is a bit misleading to those who have sensitive skin, many of whom find fragrance an irritant. Fragrance is high on the ingredient list as well and the product has a strong, and not overly pleasant, scent. I definitely wouldn't re-buy or recommend to anyone who has skin that is sensitive to fragrance.
