€15.53 - €29.47

Tend to your skin’s flora with The Ordinary "Buffet", an anti-ageing serum infused with active probiotics that naturally live on your skin which will help with everything from fine lines, wrinkles irritation, dullness and sensitivity.

The best selling, The Ordinary "Buffet" is packed full of an impressive number of peptides and probiotics that are anti-ageing and help improve your skin’s overall health. Upon application, the lightweight, liquid serum quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving a nourished and younger complexion.

One of the key ingredients is peptides Matrixyl 3000, Matrixyl™ synthe'6™, SYN™-AKE that encourage collagen synthesis, while peptides relistase and ARGIRELOX™ target lines and increases elasticity; this helps you achieve a visible plumper complexion and also reduces the depth of wrinkles.

Combined, with a probiotic complex (good bacteria) mixed with 11 good-to-skin amino acids and hyaluronic acid that rehydrate skin; together, all these ingredients continue to encourage plumpness, helping to create supple-looking skin.

Why We Love It

Microbiome-friendly skincare is a trend that is set to only get bigger. Ahead of the curve, this formula works with your skins community of good bacteria, topping it up with probiotics so that your skin doesn’t become overrun with pathogens (bad bacteria). The Buffet treatment is a firm fan-favourite, and with so many anti-ageing and skin health benefits we can see why!

With simple, stripped back design, The Ordinary bottle and a pipette function ensure you use just the right amount of product with each application.

How To Use It

After cleansing, use the pipette to apply a few drops to the face in the morning and the evening.

The Ordinary "Buffet" is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be patient if you break out! I bought this to use in the morning with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and in the evening with The Ordinary Granative Retinoid 5% in Squalane and Rose Hip Seed Oil. I immediately broke out using the "Buffet", with small red bumps all over my forehead and smile lines. I also found it really sticky combined with the Hyaluronic Acid, but given I was stuck at home in lockdown I stuck it out and within a week the redness went away as well as the stickiness, and my skin is now smooth and healthy looking. I love this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for the thin-skinned Having emailed The Ordinary directly, I got tired of waiting for the reply and figured I couldn’t go too wrong by following the advice for general signs of ageing, as found on their website. As it turned out, I did get it wrong. I have normal (non-sensitive) olive skin, no blemishes or wrinkles, just a slightly dull post-winter complexion, which basically needed livening up. BUFFET seemed like a logical solution, so I started using it, exactly as it said on the bottle. A few days later, my daughter asked why my face was so red, and when I looked in the mirror, my cheeks were covered in broken capillaries, which was something I had never experienced before. So I immediately stopped using Buffet, and my face is back to normal again. One star goes to branding, btw. Got to give them that.
