“If you’re looking for a do-it-all anti-ageing serum to smooth, hydrate, and firm your skin, The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum is the skincare product for you.” - Hannah, Escentual Beauty Team.

Why You’ll Love The The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum:

  • Multi-purpose serum designed to smooth signs of ageing.
  • Peptides reduce the look of crow’s feet, wrinkles and fine lines.
  • Dry skin is deeply hydrated and smoothed for a radiant glow.
  • Lightweight, fluid texture is fast-absorbing.
  • Firms skin and improves elasticity.

What You Need To Know:

This Multi-Peptide serum is packed full of hydrating, anti-ageing ingredients to target multiple skin concerns. Dry skin is hydrated by hyaluronic acid, whilst nutrient-rich amino acids nourish your complexion. The patented peptides, SYN™-AKE, Matrixyl™ synthe'6™, Matrixyl™ 3000, ARGIRELOX™, work together to smooth fine lines and deeper wrinkles such as crow’s feet. Skin is firmed, smoother, with improved elasticity, and has a radiant glow.

Why It’s Escentual:

If you’re looking for a do-it-all serum, you’ve come to the right place. Topical peptides mimic natural peptides that give your skin a plump finish. The water-based serum sinks in immediately to get to work smoothing and hydrating. It only takes a few moments to add to your routine, but it has many benefits, including reducing the appearance of signs of ageing.

This serum may sound familiar to you if you’re a long-term fan of The Ordinary; it used to be called the ‘Buffet’ serum. It has been renamed to reflect the powerful ingredients within. You can continue enjoying the multi-purpose skincare step with the same bottle design and powerful ingredients, just with a new name.

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (Formerly known as "Buffet") is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be patient if you break out! I bought this to use in the morning with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and in the evening with The Ordinary Granative Retinoid 5% in Squalane and Rose Hip Seed Oil. I immediately broke out using the "Buffet", with small red bumps all over my forehead and smile lines. I also found it really sticky combined with the Hyaluronic Acid, but given I was stuck at home in lockdown I stuck it out and within a week the redness went away as well as the stickiness, and my skin is now smooth and healthy looking. I love this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for the thin-skinned Having emailed The Ordinary directly, I got tired of waiting for the reply and figured I couldn’t go too wrong by following the advice for general signs of ageing, as found on their website. As it turned out, I did get it wrong. I have normal (non-sensitive) olive skin, no blemishes or wrinkles, just a slightly dull post-winter complexion, which basically needed livening up. BUFFET seemed like a logical solution, so I started using it, exactly as it said on the bottle. A few days later, my daughter asked why my face was so red, and when I looked in the mirror, my cheeks were covered in broken capillaries, which was something I had never experienced before. So I immediately stopped using Buffet, and my face is back to normal again. One star goes to branding, btw. Got to give them that.
