Due to its potency, it’s recommended that Retinol beginners build tolerance with Retinol 0.5% in Squalane before using Retinol 1% in Squalane to avoid unpleasant redness or peeling.

Apply a small amount to the face in the evening. Do not use with other retinoid treatments and use SPF daily throughout use.

However, have been pleasantly surprised that this hasn’t happened. Lovely to use, oil based so glides on. I use at night and in the morning my skin feels lovely and soft. Have also noticed a reduction in the fine lines around my eyes. My skin appears to be “glowing”. All this for £6....amazing.
