Fresh & Fruity
Firstly the smell is amazing it's fresh and smells of summer a very light fragrance.
The negative is you do have to apply quite a few times but for some reason the amount left in the bottle doesn't seem to go down very quickly so it's not to bad.
The bottle is lovely and I am becoming a big fan of Guerlain fragrances men and women's.
I wear Jo Malone Sea salt and sage. Sweet Lemon and Muse then the rest are mainly sweet perfumes so for me this one is staying with me for a while.
its a good price to enjoy if you buy i have.

I've taken to using (somewhat liberally) citrus colognes in the summer. I had tried a more patriotic brand with an over inflated price and been very disappointed at how very weak the scent was. I love Guerlain' s heady perfumes for colder days but until I spotted this on Escentual's website I had no idea as to the range of scents they make. This cologne is citrusy, lemon with no hint of sweetness but has depth, warming on the skin. Tho' it fades more quickly than a perfume on my skin I find my clothes retain its discrete, clean smell. For me it's an uplifting scent. It's well priced and in such a pretty bottle! I will certainly try the other scents in this range.

This fragrance triumphantly incorporates the critus and herb qualities, and offers the freshness that one would expect from Guerlain's range of lighter fragrances.

Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic
A very classy citrus fragrance. I already had and love the Aqua Allegoria Pamplune and so bought this one. It has that really authentic citrus smell, not at all cheap or synthetic, but a rich enough citrus in that it is in no way linear (i.e. citrus right the way through) and develops into a lovely warm fragrance. It can, to my mind, equally be worn all year round as of course Mandarin notes can equally be thought of as a Christmas scent!
The bottle is also a joy, the whole experience of these two particular Aqua Allegoria EDTs are a sheer delight.
I would tell anyone whose experience of Guerlain is limited to their more spicy offerings such as Shalimar or Samsara, or indeed their more popular fragrances that can be found in the high streets such as Insolence or La Petite Robe Noir to not be clouded in their judgement on the basis of these. The Aqua Allegoria are far superior to my mind to a certain other brand that offers similar citrus offerings at more than double the price.
