Update on my previous review.
I complained previously that shade 0.2W was too pale and 0.3W was too dark and wondered why there wasn't a 0.25W, but having used this for a while now, I realise that the shades seem to adapt to your own colouring after about 10 mins of application, so 0.2W is perfect for me. This foundation is easy to apply and lasts all day for me (I have very dry skin) as it's moisturising. It is very expensive but a little goes a long way, so should last. I recommend.

Perfect!
This foundation does exactly what it says! I got it in shade 01C and it matches my skin tone perfectly. I’m pale with cool undertones and used to use Estee Lauder Double Wear in shade 1C2 Petal. The fragrance is light and not noticeable at all after a while.

Not my favourite foundation...
I purchased this from Escentual after reading the write up decided to risk it as it sounded fresh and contemporary.
Texture: It is full coverage and not the light feel I was expecting. It is 'sticky' to apply and hard to blend by hand - it may be easier with a brush or sponge. However, it does mix well with a serum, moisturiser or CC Cream. I blended it with my beloved By Terry CC Cream and got much better results. Don't press for a full' pump' or it will be quite 'cakey' with a mask like finish-quite an old fashioned feel - maybe work the product on the back of the hand before applying if using fingers.
Feel: It feels very drying on the skin and I felt it 'enhanced' wrinkles!!!
Longevity: It is really long lasting and oddly, really does look better as the day goes on. Hard to remove when cleansing at night -had to use a cleansing oil -even though I had blended it to recreate a more 'moist' feel.
Look: As above, a full powdery 'old fashioned' coverage - not the 'dewy' translucent look I prefer -maybe good for those who like vintage fashions and a retro, theatrical look.
Fragrance: This is actually horrible. Remember your grandma's face powder that she probably kept for years - long after the sell by date? THAT is the fragrance, luckily if you blend it you can disguise it.
Colour: My fault, I should not have ordered a new foundation online. To assist me in colour choice, I looked up a foundation matching site online and they recommended O2N light. I was a bit suspicious as I am fairly light to mid with rosy toned skin (Irish) and so very light tones are not right for me. I have also read that over 50's (which I now am) should opt for a more yellow tone so I went feral and chose 02W Light Warm. It is kind of OK but a bit pale for me and VERY yellow - but if blended as above is a fair if not ideal match. For reference I normally wear Warm Beige by Bobbi Brown, 108 Sand in Clarins Everlasting Cushion and Natural in By Terry CC cream.
Overall It was not at all the texture I was expecting, I don't enjoy applying it or using it - far too heavy and the fragrance is very off-putting. But so glad it is natural as can be.
The quest for the best foundation for me continues... I do feel it is sadly going to be the hyper expensive (and not sure of the natural credentials) the Bobbi Brown Serum Foundation which I can ill afford.

Wonderful foundation
This Guerlain foundation is absolutely brilliant. I love it. The colour recommended for me is the best match I have ever had and it is so comfortable to wear and lasts all day. Best ever foundation I have ever purchased and I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone.
