La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Non-Perfumed Cream SPF50+ 50ml is rated out of 5 by 33.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bambi13 from Fairly decent sunscreen for non-sensitive skin I have been struggling to find a fragrance free daily sunscreen on the high street that only contains the newer chemical filters. In the past my skin has become irritated with using sunscreen and only after research did I realise this could be down to the presence of older chemical filters which can cause irritation for some people - unfortunately they're still widely used in most sunscreens despite there being better options available. This one is mostly new filters but does contain avobenzone which can be irritating for some (why they keep putting it in sunscreens for sensitive skin I don't know!). As it was lower down in the formulation I thought it was worth a go. I really like the texture of this sunscreen - it's a cream but it feels light and non greasy (I have normal - dry skin) and it's really easy to apply - no streaking like I can get with lighter (mattifying) fluid textures. Though I can't comment on its suitability for oily skin, I know of someone with oily skin that really likes the texture of this. I applied about 2.5 pumps to just my face (and another 2 pumps for my neck / ears), then waited 5 mins before applying make up which went on after without issue. This doesn't give any white cast (I have medium dark skin) - so that's a big plus point too. But a little time after applying the sunscreen, I noticed a cooling / tingling sensation - not irritation as such, but something didn't feel right. I'm not sure if this was the avobenzone or the alcohol (which is fairly high up in the ingredients list) causing this but it's made me hesitant to use it again. That said, if your skin isn't overly sensitive to older chemical filters or alcohol, this is a very good everyday option which protects against UVA and UVB. I would love to see a better range of unperfumed sunscreens from LRP that are truly suitable for sensitive skin (only new filters, no alcohol) - I find their current range confusing and overwhelming and yet they don't seem to have a sunscreen that works for me. I don't think I would repurchase as I have found better options for my skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alice1 from Great and reasonable priced sunscreen! Easy to apply, no white cast and no perfume at all! I used the matte fluid from La Roche Posay before but gave up after it left white cast all over and just stayed a rather thick layer on my skin, to the point that my foundation applied on top became horribly cakey. Now problems are solved. Got it at discount so it's even better. Fast delivery too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kats31 from Ideal for normal-dry skin I have fairly 'normal' skin; a little dehydrated, a little oily on the nose and this is my favourite sunscreen., It absorbs easily, doesn't roll with my other skincare, and sits well under makeup. I can wear this right up to the under-eyes without irritation. The filters are photo-stable, though if wearing makeup on a sunny day and so unable to top-up with this, I do now top-up with the ultra-fine mist, also from La Roche Posay, to be sure I still have the best protection later in the day.
