La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet AP+ - Lipid Replenishing Cream Wash is rated out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by JHT17 from SLS It sounded perfect so I ordered it and stupidly did not research the ingredients. On receiving it, I checked the list of ingredients. There it was - the dreaded Sodium Laureth Sulphate. I cannot let this near my face so it will be a hand wash. A lesson learned - no matter how gentle it claims to be if SLS is in there it is a known irritant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jofe from It Probably Does Work on dry skin. My skin isn't particularly dry, but I had been having breakouts, so I thought I would revert to a gentler cleanser/ wash for a while. It certainly is gentle, and it has a smooth milky feel that did leave my skin feeling smooth/ pampered afterwards. There is barely any fragrance but it does have a distinctive "smell" that I really like for some reason. Even though it calmed my skin somewhat, I probably won't reorder as I need something that will reduce my acne breakouts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lalapineblanche from A reliable and effective product I have skin which is not particularly sensitive or dry on my face or body but I have occasionally suffered from eczema/dermatitis over the years. This last winter was one of those times and I decided to change my body cleanser. I bought this in January, and initially the main attraction was that it claimed to protect the skin against hard water, and as I'd just moved to London and found the water very irritating indeed, this was a brainless purchase. I have been very pleased, it doesn't dry out or strip the skin, and definitely helped protect against the angry red patches of skin which covered my shoulders after the shower. I've stuck with it and I would like to say it didn't CURE the skin irritation - it never claimed it would - but it certainly helped it not get any worse and continued to soothe until the irritation eventually dissipated, and I have complete faith in it. I am also won over by the fact that it cleanses completely thoroughly: I feel very clean and fresh after using it. I bought a tube from my brother who is sensitive and reacts very badly to hard water and he found it greatly improved his irritations after showering. I never go and stay anywhere without it, it is excellent and reliable. Works well on my normal facial skin, too. Highly recommended, especially for people like me who don't have excessively problematic skin but believe simple, effective care is the best.
